Coolahan's Pub — Restaurant in Maryland

It's kind of an uncomfortable place if you're not white. They're not rude to you or anything, but it feels like suddenly the whole bar takes notice of you. Then another patron tried selling me a random bag of frozen shrimp, which was really weird. A drinker at a bar used a derogatory word for a black person who was on TV. Not the N word, but another I won't repeat. Finally, the fries I ordered weren't very good. So I don't recommend the food or atmosphere if...

Bartender was friendly. Prices very reasonable. It's a local bar for cheap drinks and food. You may have to call if it's late at night, as their hours vary from the Google. The women's bathroom gave me a chuckle as it was one room with two toilets next to eachother, no stalls. That was a bit unsanitary. Not sure what they think us girls do in the bathroom, but I can assure you, we don't go to the bathroom and practically hold hands...

I LOVE this place! Very prompt service and attentive staff. Very friendly and outgoing locals and regulars. I ordered their ranch buffalo chicken wrap and cheesesteak wrap.
