I have been here two times and love it the food is amazingly good. I will let as many people to come here food nice and fresh. Today, on the 26th of October 2024, you gave me .. " A Very Stale Piece of Cornbread ". Being a African American, I am a Professional Cornbread officiant and who, will tell you, that giving away, Stale Cornbread is a, " No- No " !!! Please, Be Mindful, of the bad, Stale Cornbread, please. Do Not Give Away your Stale, Cornbread, please, because it is Noticeable. As well, OFFENSIVE. WE NOTICE YOUR UNFRESH, STALE, OLD, CORNBREAD. PLEASE NOTE !!! WE NOTICED. I AM OFFENDED, THAT YOU THINK THAT I DO NOT NOTICE. THE OFFENSIVE STALE, CRUMBLING AND, DRIED OUT, STALE, HORRIBLE AND, DISGUSTING CORNBREAD. Im being generous by giving them one star. Ordered fried pork chop dinner with greens and mixed veges; carrots, cauliflower and broccoli. Received 3 small pork chops. The breading fell off chops and the meat was dried up. Brandon did not replace the order nor was a refund issued. His comment was to return food for order or replacement.but was thrown out in garbage. During COVID this is not acceptable. Who handled food before I took out the bag for takeout. The food is packaged in solid black container. So, looking back on the situation, thinking, did I get a persons rejected order of pork chops. Makes you wonder. A sign was not posted in the store to that effect to return wrong or unwanted food. Normally I visit the store at least 2 times weekly. I will not spend my money at this location or the other location again. 1/25/2023 Baked Turkey wings dry and dark. Collards with large stems, cauliflower, carrots and broccoli. Vega cooked and flavorful. Can of soda. Cornbread dry or 2 slices bread. Mac and cheese noodles over cooked. Cabbage sometimes good often times no flavor. Fried chicken dry. Pork chops breading falls off. Sweet be potatoes really sweet. Parking available. Good...

First time here. Ordered the meatloaf platter with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans with cornbread. Disappointed..The mashed potatoes were fair, green beans better, cornbread good. Meatloaf was flat, bland, tasteless. It tasted like a packed together pack of fillers ( like oats, soybeans etc). Or like what I would imagine cat or dog food would taste like. Had no semblance of flavor like a real meatloaf has. What comes to mind is like taking tofu and dressing it up to look like meat. Mashed potatoes was clearly from a box of instant. A bland paste. No disrespect but the food wasn't cooked with any finesse, no soul. Just an industrial thrown together fare. I will give them another try. This time I will try something different. I believe it's an Asian run and managed business; but as we know, it's rare that they cook American food like Americans do; especially soul food. Tastes like the food was cooked by an amateur.
