Dew Drop Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Maryland

I wasn't too sure about this place as I have rode past it quite a few times. However, my friend and I decided to try it out together for the first time. It was not crowded, which we loved. We were greeted when we walked in. He ordered a strong long island, and he said it wasn't really strong, but he enjoyed it. I ordered a bulleit neat, and you can't go wrong with that. We ordered mozzarella sticks, you can't go wrong with that. There's a pool table or two, can't remember, but we played a game of pool and just had an awesome time. The bartender was great, she was relatable and attentive. We have been coming here for about a year now and the fish and chips and jambalaya are the best. The cook staff are quick and food is always good. The drinks were good when we finally got them. Our glasses (well plastic cups) were empty for a while. No acknowledgement from bartender with long hair. She just sat on her phone and did her makeup while we sat with empty cups of both drink and ice water (she gave no ice). We were willing to stay longer but she would not come over to give us another drink. We had to call her over multiple times for water, the check, etc. She never smiled or said a word to us. Went in for 11ish am brunch. Slow service but still good food. I was disappointed to see that they do not offer a simple steak and eggs option, so I pushed on. I settled on the brisket sandwich while my girl got the shrimp salad sandwich. Both were very good! But I was once again disappointed to see my sandwich come out on plain white toast instead of a nice toasted bun, like my girls shrimp salad sandwich came out on. Both were in the same ball park of price point. Brisket is not bologna, ham or turkey. Give it a vessel to accentuate its flavor profile. Lightly buttered and toasted on the flat iron top would have been so much better than crunchy and dry...
