Finally gave this place a try after passing it almost every day to work. I’m so glad I did. Run by the owner of the truck for the last 3 years (I wish I knew how to spell his name), the food here was fresh, tasted amazing, and you can tell it’s made with passion and love for authentic Mexican food. The birria tacos were great, and the consome was exceptionally excellent. Properly spiced and the broth just the perfect amount of fatty and full of flavor, liquid gold. Topped with some spicy salsa and lime, I can’t stress enough how amazing it tasted. I also got carne asada tacos, adobada (marinated pork) and chorizo (spiced pork sausage) tacos. All were amazing, and my wife especially loved the carne asada. I give my vote to the Birria, but definitely recommend adobada as the choice for a pork taco (unless you don’t like grilled onions), and the chorizo is a definite must try topped with his spicy sauces if that’s what you’re into. Nothing here was a miss, this is without a doubt a contender for the best ā€œstreet foodā€ style tacos I’ve had, and I am eager to try the Birria burrito and his homemade horchata when I come back. I am so glad I discovered this place, and being reasonably priced (about $4 per taco as of this review), and being only a few mins from my house, he got me hooked as a returning customer for the (hopefully very many more) years this taco truck is here.

Well worth the stop if you are headed either way on Rt 40, not sure on their hours of operation but if I ever see the truck open I'm gonna stop. Fairly priced food and good portion size, I was not left hungry after 3 birra tacos. Would be interested to try anything on the menu. Way better than Chipolte or Qdoba by a long shot!

This place feels like a hidden gem. Easily some of the best food on Pulaski and around the Joppatowne area. Only about $4 for each taco and they were perfect. The spicy sauce on the side was also delicious. This just became my new taco spot.

This is my go to dinner treat every week! The quesabirria is phenomenal and the man running the truck is incredibly kind. Sadly, I have noticed the truck closing prior to 6:30pm the last 2 days and was not able to order in time. Hoping the hours aren’t changing! But still 5 stars for...
