El Paraiso Tropical LLC — Restaurant in Maryland

I am not sure why they have such few stars I can only imagine that patrons get upset at the wait. This is a small business and sometimes they do not answer the phone when busy due to the limited staff. I could have lowered my service rating but they make the best Pupusas on this side of the county. The Courtido (slaw) is sometimes not enough but if you like slaw order extra for an additional charge. Also the chicken tamales are always moist and flavorful and I dont usually like central american tamales growing up with cuban tamales this has become my new favorite. They are priced cheap for Pupusas and tamales and have never dissappointed, admitidly i have not tried their other dishes.

I looked at the other reviews and unfortunately almost all poor reviews are related to irate patrons with poor phone orders, incomplete or hang ups on the phone. This is because they have very limited staff. If you have patients you will learn their food is very good. Again small business challenge order with confidence. La última vez que estuve allí me cobraron 2 veces propina, te la cobran sin decirte y luego al final te ponen el espacio en blanco para que les pongas mas propina, la primera vez no me di cuenta, después lei mismos reviews de otra gente, entonces me di cuenta que esto lo hacen frecuentemente, para la proxima que fue la ultima vez, me di cuenta a tiempo se cobraron la propina in advance y ya no pude hacer nada cuando en verdad no la merecían, esa vez la comida estuvo horrible en toda la extensión no había clientes y tardaron más de 40 mins en darmela, estuve a punto de irme, pedi unos tacos de pollo que tenian 3 o 4 pedazos de pollo en cada tortilla que por cierto estaba fria, la demas comida estaba salada ni me la pude comer, etc.Siento decirte todo eso, si es la misma administración de la tienda, entonces son los empleados de el restaurante los que los hacen quedar mal, deberían checar eso, por que en la tienda nunca he tenido ningun problema y todos son...

I’m not sure why the rating for this place is so low. Maybe a previous owner or management, not sure. The food here is absolutely delicious and the pupusas are a must try. Maybe they’re trying to stay a hidden gem but I suggest giving them a try. Plenty of parking and there is a dollar general on the same...
