5 star system does not do any place justice. But I honestly give this place a low score on bartender/manager attitude. At first she seemed to have a good vibe, but not in tune to a new potential client who lives in walking diatance. Never made any attempt to interact. Isn't that what a bartend does or should do.

Overall service was slow. No interaction or follow up unless I initated. Too busy with friends.

She seems to be ok doing the low class ging and that is not a dig on the business. Just her clientes or friends.

Place seems to be going downhill as of late. My husband and I have been going here pretty regularly for the past few years but are finding the overall quality of the place to be somewhat lacking. The menu hasn't changed (adding something easy like nachos or chips and salsa or different main dishes would be nice); the lack of upkeep of the establishment outdoors is noticeable (it has great patio space but it's clear that's not their priority with dead and dying plants, weeds in their garden, tables not wiped down). Table service there can be iffy although their longtime servers are great. The owner/manager of the place is not interested in his customers unless you sit at the bar every day from lunch til dinner I guess. The last time we walked in, he was sitting outside and barely even looked up at us without saying hi or smiling or any sort of welcome. Their burgers are great but sadly we won't be spending our money there any longer. It's just not worth it. I think they heavily rely on Capitals games and trivia night and could care less about...

Wouldn't recommend the daught beer. It tastes super funky. The happy hour crowd here is large and fairly loud. This isn't a quiet dining establishment, but everyone seems friendly. The servers & bartenders were definitely a great part of the experience.

I hadn't been here in a minute and was in the mood for their Cajun Chicken Sandwich, which I love! For some reason I decided to order the Tossed Salad and added grilled shrimp instead. It was delicious! The shrimp was perfectly grilled, I'm definitely going to get that again soon. We got the spinach and artichoke dip as well. The pita chips to dip with are really good, but if you're expecting your typical gooey, cheesy dip, this isn't it. It was very heavy on the spinach and very sparce on the cheese. It wasn't awful, but definitely not what we were expecting. Would probably give this a pass next time.
