Maugansville Creamery — Restaurant in Maryland

On August 2nd, at approximately 1:00 p.m., I visited this ice cream parlor for the first time, and I can say I loved the ice cream and sloppy joe sandwiches. For three separate trips to the counter to purchase these items not one time...NOT ONCE, did the young, heavy set waitress ever thank me for these items. I thought this was so rude and asked her if she ever said "thanks" to a customer. She motioned her head in a negative fashion to suggest no she didn't. I told her this was so rude and that she should acknowledge each customer for a thank you after any purchase. She just gave me a blank look to also suggest she didn't give a damn. Maugansville Creamery is the BEST! Definitely a local's favorite, this place will be packed most evenings in the summer. Be prepared to wait during prime season, however, they are open year round. Featuring only Hershey's ice cream (the best ice cream in the world!), there's something for everyone from cones and cups to sundaes and milkshakes. In summertime, they offer a plethora of flavors, including hard-to-find ones like my favorite, honey roasted peanut butter. A co-worker recommended this ice cream parlor. My wife and I have tried many ice cream parlors within a twenty mile radius, and this place has the best and creamyest ice cream yet. There was a line to the door when we got there. They offer cones, cups, sundaes, milk shakes, floats, banana splits, and even half gallon containers to go.
