Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Maryland

My husband and I are gig workers we are both seniors. Yesterday 11/29/2024 we went to pick up an order and they actually ignored my husband he stood around about 5 minutes and they still continued ignoring him. My husband finally had to speak up. And what made even worst the order was ready what did it cost them to just hand him the order. Would I recommend this pizza hut to anyone no even if I was hungry I wouldn't want it even if they were giving it to me for free. There was one in particular that saw my husband from the corner of his eyes and went to the back of the store to chat with another coworker. There's another one that has reddish hair and a long beard that one late night when we went to pick up an order he started to talk to my husband he was also talking about young people being lazy. My husband said I like that young man because of his beliefs. He also mentioned that he decided to go back to college to get his education. But to my surprise he flipped his coin because he was the very first first one to turn his back on my husband. People (this young generation) need to accept the fact that not everyone can retire without worrying how to pay their bills. I want them to understand that not everyone are born with a silver spoon in their mouth. You young generation need to realize that maybe one day you can get to the same situation as a lot of of are in. A lot of young people don't want to work they rather steal rob and do anything else because they're lazy. Please don't get me wrong because I have met some good young people that I know their parents did a good job in raising them. I myself have young friends that respect me and want to hear my wisdom. My point is tomorrow is not promised to us we can pass in our sleep. We all need to respect and love one another. A lot of this seniors no matter their health issues or monetary problems are reliable and work hard. I'm still going to wish all of you good greetings because I try very hard to do God's will. I'm so blessed that Jehovah God and His son our Savior Jesus Christ is in my heart and soul. You all have a good Christmas enjoy your family and friends but instead of being so hard on the elderly people be kind to them. Much love to everyone out there and that includes my enemies. I am surprised to see so many who think this location does not have delivery. They do, but understand they pass the order to doordash to deliver. For those of you ordering delivery, an FYI. I've seen some posts in various puzza hut store reviews where customers think door dashers get your tip. They do not if you order through pizza hut. They only give half of that to doordash to pass to the driver. There are actually stores who do not pass any of it. Don't be fooled by door dash 100% tip claim. Read closer. It's 100% of tips THEY RECEIVE. If you ordered through doordash, yes. If they are only receiving 50% from pizza hut, the dasher is getting 100% of 50% of your tip. Thus, when you think you've tipped enough to get a dasher to bring your food hot, if it shows up cold, you know why. Dasher is getting $2 plus less than 50% of your tip. Yes, that is all we get of the huge mark up, deluvery fee and tip. I have had customers if this store say i gave me a $10 tip, did you get it? When i hit complete, the tip was $2. Ask yourself...would you work for that? Other than that, the workers are cool but I still don't care for...

I ordered pizza, wings and breadsticks. We did not receive the wings. We called the store to let them know and we were told that there is nothing they can do because there is no delivery driver, apparently pizza hut had an Uber eats driver deliver our order. They only offered to credit my account, a credit to my account was not going to fix the fact that my husband's dinner wasnt delivered. My husband asked them to contact the Uber eats driver to have them come back with the wings, of course that didn't happen. My husband didn't want pizza that's why I ordered wings. There was no apology for their mistake just "there's nothing we can do". My husband and I are both sick so I tried to make it an easy dinner for our son. Guess I'll remember next time to not order from here. On top of the missing wings the pizza arrived cold and was mediocre at best. We have ordered quite a bit from this pizza hut and I have not been impressed this place has gone downhill a lot lately. Very disappointed in how this was handled.
