Atomic Seafood — Restaurant in Maryland

New year's eve 2019 visit was our 1st visit to the restaurant ever. Walked in and was greeted immediately, and told to seat ourselves wherever we would like. There were only 2 other guests in the restaurant at the time at the bar. We did feel a little rushed as the server was trying to get us to hurry up and put our order in. They do not offer a children's menu, but offer chicken tender basket for them. We ordered the fish bites which were FANTASTIC, as an appetizer. My son recieved his tender basket at the same time our appetizer came out, along with our nice garden salads. The entrees were not as good. One of us got the spicy shrimp tacos, presentation looked great, but the shrimp were undercooked, and so that made it taste awful. Really disappointed, as we thought it would have been so good had the shrimp been cooked all the way. I on the other hand ordered fried shrimp dinner and the shrimp were SO over cooked they were like a rubber bouncy ball. It was terrible! I think the entrees were bad simply because they were close to closing time and ready to get out of there! Very disappointing, because it could have been really great, and could really grow as a business there, but not when you have people working there rushing your customers, and or turning other customers away! 😔 I pray this review is a growing pain, as it definitely has potential to be a great place with...

I have tried to give atomic a fair chance but unfortunately this past weekend was my last straw. I will only come to Atomic now for drinks as that’s been the only thing I’ve been please with. I am not one usually to post but I feel as it would be good for the owners and others to be aware. I went for the special kind cake pancakes that were advertised on their facebook. When I received the pancakes it was not was advertised. When I asked if I could get it the way the photo they posted was, my impression was that they had no idea how to accomplish this. When I was given the second attempt it was inedible. The pancake flavor wasn’t uniform and it was like they microwaved icing for us to pour over the pancakes itself. They looked very unappetizing and nothing like the photo they advertised.

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant when it was yo momma's. It was decent then but still nothing to be impressed over. After the remodel to atomic seafood... The place looks boring and unappealing. No manager. For just two people we spent over $90. The crab dip was not very good, $20 for fried shrimp and soggy fries. The burger that wasn't anything special to talk about. We both got two drinks that were extremely overpriced and didn't taste like they had any alcohol in them at all.
