Delightful culinary experience with its vibrant atmosphere and flavorful dishes. Our recent visit left us quite satisfied, though there were a few areas where improvements could enhance the overall experience.
Taco Salad: The taco salad was a fresh and satisfying start to our meal. The crispy tortilla bowl was filled with a generous portion of seasoned ground beef, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and creamy guacamole. The dressing was perfectly tangy, complementing the salad without overpowering it. The only slight drawback was that the beef was a tad under-seasoned, but the fresh ingredients made up for it.
Fajitas: The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the sizzling fajitas. Served with a dramatic flair, the mix of tender chicken, bell peppers, and onions came to our table still steaming. The flavors were robust, with a perfect balance of spices. Accompanied by warm tortillas, sour cream, and guacamole, each bite was a fiesta of taste. However, an extra side of rice would have made this dish even more satisfying.
Quesadillas: The quesadillas were another hit, filled generously with melted cheese and succulent pieces of chicken. They were crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, just as they should be. The portion size was generous, and the accompanying salsa added a nice kick. A touch more seasoning on the chicken would have elevated this dish to perfection.
Ambiance and Service: The restaurant's decor is ok with colorful murals and traditional Mexican music that set the mood perfectly. The service was ok but not great we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
While a few minor tweaks in seasoning could elevate the dishes further, the overall quality and flavors are commendable. We look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu.

Read moreVery disengaged staff, the hostess was very rude and seemed annoyed that we were interested in eating at this establishment. Said there would be a possible 20 minute wait while the restaurant was only 3/4 full. The server who waited on us smelled liked she had just had her smoke break. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas and had to be the worst I had ever tried, the shrimp looked like it had been cooked earlier (dry and chewy). I usually will just power through my meal and not even say something but the combination of the service and food just disappointed us overall. My husband had ordered the fajitas (chicken & steak combo) dry dry dry, how do you mess that up? When the server checked on us and asked if I wanted a box to go and I explained I would not due to the food being inedible as I had taken one bite (spat it out) and wouldn't consider it edible. She said sorry to hear that....."I'll take 10% off". So in summary between food and service we have no intent to return to this establishment. Such a shame because we were hoping that this place would've been a winner but unfortunately when your staff doesn't belong working in the service industry and food is prepared this...
Read moreAte there a few times and even did take out twice. Amazing food and well worth the money. The wait for the food to come could be a little long sometimes. But there’s a lady that takes take-out orders that hangs up the phone on you when you try and place your order!!!!
Earlier today, I went to place a take-out order and I asked the lady to repeat herself a few times because I couldn’t really understand what she was saying. She got mad and hung up on me! I’ve never seen anything more unprofessional than that! She even hung up on my father one day when he tried to order! I wanted to call back to order again but I just couldn’t after that. So I went and ordered from Sue Asian instead and that was well worth it! Never had a problem with them and they took my order down real easy compared to the lady at Plaza Tapatia. Now I’m hesitant to eat there again! She’s costing you guys good customers and good money! Such a shame! I wonder how many people got hung up on by her lol!
I haven’t left a review for anything in over a year but I had to put this out there! Be prepared to order from somewhere else if you plan on...
