Great place & great service. I ordered for the first time online yesterday and decided to go again today. I got the Bay Bialy Breakfast Sammy yesterday with a 12 oz. caramel latte. They were both satisfying. The old bay & tajin sauce on the sandwich was a little underwhelming to me, since I expect those to be pretty bold flavors, but that's just a personal preference! I'd love it if they added a bit more of that to the sauce, but I'm sure others like it as is.
Today I placed an online order for the Breakfast Sammy. It was ready on time. On the app used to order it says it has egg, choice of meat, veggies, and cheese. I added chipotle aioli. I took a bite and realized there was no cheese or veggies. Went back and showed my receipt and sandwich, and the employee I spoke to explained the sandwich is actually just the bagel, egg, and meat, but offered to remake the sandwich how I'd like it anyway!
They happily remade the sandwich for me & it was delicious. I appreciate that they offered to fix it even if it wasn't really "wrong" in the first place. I did pull up the menu after they already offered, mostly to confirm I didn't read it wrong, and they confirmed that the description online was wrong. I assume it's an older version of the menu. Either way, they were kind and made it right for me by making a sandwich with what I thought would be on it. I'll recommend them...

There are so many remarkable little towns sprawled across the United States and because of interstates travelers often miss these gems. I am always grateful when I find local coffee shops while I am on a road trip; especially ones that are unique and have a great sense of community.
River Bottom Roasters is definitely unique whether its the friendly barista with the amazing glasses (I wish I had gotten her name), the wooden canoes hung on the walls, the one of a kind matching Adirondack chairs, or their artsy labels on their coffee bags. As I sat on one of those comfy Adirondack chairs, sipping on my cortado and observing the folks walking in and out of the shop the sense of community was noticeable. The baristas knew customers. Customers warmly greeted other customers. The environment was warm and inviting.
River Bottom Roasters is a great example of a community coffee shop. The sort of place I wish I had down the street from my house. One I could frequent often and be a part of while sipping on their delicious cortados made from their small batched...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've always enjoyed their coffee but first time visiting their coffee shop. It was amazing! There's a cute little play area for kids in the back corner my kiddo thoroughly enjoyed. They also had high chairs for kids. With their mouth watering coffee combined with their family friendly atmosphere, this is a dynamite combination. Definitely will be back for sure.
The only possible way this could improve is to make it slightly more allergy friendly. Kiddo has allergies and so no one got any delicious looking bakery items as the staff said they get it from another location and was unsure of allergens.
Other than that, the place is clean, staff was great and friendly, there were clean and fun toys to keep my kiddo occupied. Chairs were comfy, and they have some of the best coffee in the world. Everything a coffee addict dreams for a local coffee shop all in...
