Waffle House — Restaurant in Williamsport

Worst experience.

To start it took five minutes to even be recognized. Then when I was trying to give my order, the waitress interrupted me. (I used to work at a Waffle House, I know how their order pads are laid out and the best way to state my order. I also knew exactly what I wanted because I get it every time.) We got two coffees and two hot cocoas. My son got a waffle and bacon. (Bacon crumbled to dust in his hands) My daughter got a waffle and sausage. (They first gave her over cooked bacon until I corrected them) My boyfriend got a Texas cheesesteak with a large hash brown with onion and cheese (sandwich came without mayo, the bacon was black and crumbled and they forgot his cheese) (dans coffee never got refilled) I got a bacon egg and cheese on cinnamon raisin toast with tomato and lettuce. (Bacon was dust. They forgot the lettuce and brought it on a separate plate they never gave me the tomato) hash browns with onion, ham, tomato and cheese. (Never got the ham)

While the staff was friendly when they spoke to us, we were still neglected and charged for ingredients we never got. Yes it’s a very cheap place to eat but the point remains that the service we were given was the worst I’ve ever received. Our waitress was more focused on training the new hire than delivering decent service.

Terrible experience that should leave Waffle House embarrassed. After traveling 80 miles by bike on the C&O Trail, my friend and I had stopped to eat something as this was the only place open to get food other than McDonalds. Upon entering, we were told by the one girl working there that we couldn’t eat there because they were closing. There were others eating at the time but we said okay and left. On the way out, we saw her laughing and sitting with a group of customers that appeared to be her friends, which we found odd. 30 minutes later, as we were eating Mcdonald’s, cold and tired from our journey, we noticed Waffle House was still serving food. I called over and asked if there were closing soon and the man who answered said no and that they were open all night.

Moral of the story: Some Waffle House worker who was too lazy to leave her group of friends lied to us and said they were closed. That waitress should be ashamed and C&O travelers should avoid this place as our business is clearly not wanted.

horrible experience. Everyone got served before us when we were in there before them. Too many people in the kitchen and no one had anything together. rude very very rude people that work there very rude manager on a Saturday morning June 29th 2019. She brushed us off when we complained. very bad experience neglected to do her job and take down the information she said she didn't care and that we could do what we wanted to do as far as writing a review she did not care. I would never suggest this waffle House they don't know what they're doing it's utter chaos I don't care what the foods like if you ever get fed. We waited for almost 30 minutes and still never got our food and we're complaining everyone ignored us. I would never suggest this waffle House for even my dog. Also one of the women in the kitchen that had everything totally confused had at least 10 receipts in her hand and she wasn't wearing gloves and her hands were touching all the plates. Very unhealthy...
