I enjoy going to Row Boat Willie's and was happy when they expanded the downstairs outside to accommodate bands. A larger food menu would be nice but all in all it's a great place to go during the summer.
On the other side of the coin, I was there this past Memorial Day weekend when Rob Fahey was playing. It was great, however, I don't think they were quite prepared for the crowd. There were two barmaids behind the bar, one working the front, and the other working the side. This wasn't too bad, EXCEPT when something happened with the frozen drink machine.
I was in line behind two women for a long time. One of them turned around and said they told her that her drink would take 25 minutes. I have no idea what was going on with the machine, but the problem I had was this: Is it fair to make everyone else in line wait until the problem was fixed to order their drinks?? I don't think so. They were obviously understaffed, as if there were more employees, one of them could have taken care of the machine, which would allow the other to wait on other people.

Read moreRow Boat Willies in Sparrows Point is a joke!!! First time ever there and me and a few friends get JUMPED walking to our cars. The owner is going to tell us we can never go back but the other party stayed until they heard the cops were coming and then they leave... the owner and everyone there do not care about the people going there. Like I said I spent well over enough for going there for the first time when the people were ignorant, food wasn’t even that good, and the drinks weren’t even that good. They’re just like Tiki Lees... unless you’re a regular forget it... your safety is at stake... me and 2 other people almost were beat too death for NO reason. We were walking to our cars when 3 people decided to keep the argument going and follow us. Now these people are free while 3 people were injured in the process. Rocks thrown, kicked, hit, etc. DO NOT...
Read moreI paid for a bucket of Highnoons. 4 to a bucket. I went up 3 times and ordered from the same bartender. I paid 3 different prices each time(???). Lines on the upstairs deck and lower are long. They could benefit from having a beer tub guy or gal somewhere else on the grounds. The foodrunners were polite but the bartenders not so much. Music is good, the neighborhood and view was very nice. The food was good. There is a pier to dock your boat. They have a parking lot and over flow parking across the street. There was a bad odor that smelled like crabs in a dumpster or something, maybe coming from...
