I'm pleased to update this to say that we had a yummy breakfast here and confirm they do have a breakfast menu with lots of egg and chorizo dishes. The one drawback was the absolutely pounding music at 10 am. If you have a hangover or headache, fuhgeddabout it!!! As it was, I felt fine but the music was so loud that I let kids play with phones because it was impossible to have a conversation! Fun but tiny little place...if you went to the location before it was Senor Chiles you'll be amazed like I was at how different it looks now! I am not a knowledgeable Tex Mex Connoisseur so I was surprised when the consomme with the birra was basically like a vegetable soup...corn, carrots, string beans, etc, in it. I could imagine some might like that but it didn't quite hit right for me. My vegetarian son said that the Tex mex tacos - on which he only wanted cheese and lettuce - did not have as much cheese as he would have liked. $4 for a regular fountain soda seemed over priced to me in this strip mall location where if you eat outdoors, you see a parking lot. The service wasn't great either - we had to ask for our check and our waiter never quite asked for our order until we flagged him down.

Showed up here on a weekday around 5:30PM and just barely got the last table (right at the door) as this place is SMALL (probably holds less than 75 customers). After we got our table, multiple parties were waiting outside for a table and a few reluctantly decided to eat at the outdoor tables (it is summer so it is hot). The service was prompt and always kept checking in, if not being particularly friendly. They serve FREE house-made chips and cilantro-forward, medium heat salsa. Drinks were generous and tasty. The food was out quick and healthy portion sizes. The inside of the place is a LOT of fun, very great decoration and lighting. Unfortunately the place is small and the music was loud (we asked to turn it down, to no avail) and the acoustics reverberate so that we had trouble holding much of a conversation. So there is the rough rub - the vibe and decor make for a fun place, but the loudness and likelihood of waiting for a table are not fun. Overall, we would definitely go again and certainly do take out. Give them a try!!

GREAT for BREAKFAST ā€¼ļøšŸ™‚ (more detail below) For Dinner, though... . It's fine for a quick bite or for Take-out, but it's too small to really have "atmosphere," as for a date-night or drinks w friends, etc. There are only 12 tables, there's NO HAPPY HOUR [different from their Arnold location and from Mi Lindo Cancun (Annapolis; same owner)], and it's pretty loud. More of an "eatery" format, compared with the other places in this restaurant group. In short: don't go here expecting an experience similar to those other locations-- you'll be disappointed. The Food is great, though-- same menu as at the other locations. šŸ™‚ Breakfast is another story-- and es MUY FANTASTICOā€¼ļø. Nice, calm, clean, the coffee is by local-favorite RISE-UP Roasters, and an amazing assortment of both standard-fare and authentic Mexican/Latin dishes (see breakfast-menu photos I posted) The Despertador with a double-Espresso is Off the HOOK! šŸ˜‹ There are also pancakes, French toast, smoothies, etc for kids and others who maybe don't love Mexican for brkst.

Horrible! I had to give 1 star to be able to share my experience at this Senor Chile Location here in Severna Park. What a Disappointment the Older Gentlemen working the restaurant taking orders was horrible bad attitude and disposition he was rude when asking him questions regarding the menu and if there's lunch specials didn't answer just walked away brought back a flyer placed it on the table. I don't know if he was hungover overwhelmed or overworked. I hope that he's not the Manager! The other two people working one young Man on the grill doing all of the food preparation and cooking and a Lady doing everything else. She was kind and nice smiled when I asked her for my check. The older gentleman came back with my check. Then eventually after I got his attention, 10 minutes later brought over the portable credit card machine. Once he located it forgetting where he used it last. It was on a table to the left of me. Besides the service not being that at this location like the other locations. The food was way off as well the serving the taste the freshness the prices were way to expensive for what was served, a fountain drink $4. I normally would always eat half of my meal box the other half to then order dessert. Not today not at this location! The older gentleman never came back to the table once he took the order. The nice lady served the food. I will continue to drive the distance to the Senor Chile Edgewater location. Where you're Greeted when you enter the Team is always friendly and professional the Service is Always On Point! The food is Delicious and Fresh! You Always Order Dessert! I won't be returning back here to the Severna Park location it was dirty dining area was not clean neat...

A coworker had highly recommended this place to me so of course I had to give it a try. I want to start by saying that the service provided here is exceptional and I would come back just because of how the way they treated me.

Walking into the establishment there were no customers to be seen, granted I was having a late lunch so I probably just missed the rush. First thing I noticed while being walked to my table was the inside of the kitchen. They had 2 giant tubs of red sauce on the floor. Im guessing it was the complimentary salsa or enchilada sauce. I did still eat the salsa and chips while waiting for my food which came out in a timely manner. The food was hot and looked amazing but the taste was disappointing. I took a few bites out of tacos I had. Barbacoa, carnitas, and lengua. The barbacoa was insanely oily, carnitas were not seasoned and the lengua had an intense taste of cinnamon. The rice had good flavor but it was way overcooked and mushy. told my waitor that I didn’t like the food and described exactly what I wrote above. I asked for the bill and he took the food away. When he came back, I asked for the bill again and he said it’s fine, don’t worry about it. I was surprised because even tho I didn’t like the food, I did eat several bites from the plate, I was still wanting to pay for the meal. I greatly appreciate the staff for their service and listening to what I had to say about the food. They were very polite and understanding and we said a friendly goodbye. I would definitely come back and to try their happy hour which has great prices and see if maybe there’s something else on the menu...

Since this was a new addition to SP our group of 4 decided to order an array of Senor's menu items. Note, per usual, portion sizes and prices reflect the current economy and inflation trend; however, the small soup bowls are huge.... unfortuntally, the tortilla soup was a bit salty. On the just ok/positive, street food/authentic choices were somewhat authentic and enjoyable. What was disappointing was the tex mex items we ordered from the combination menu. Trying to get a feel for as many items as possible. We tried 3 different combos. Nothing special here. Actually, same old tired tex mex you can get at any local place. Disappointed for sure. I guess the positive is it's close to home. Hmm... Service was "the" best part of our experience. High mark's there. The negative, the place is "super small" for dinning in, be forewarned! No place to stand when waiting for a table - I recommend waiting in your car (they'll txt when your table is ready). It's also tight to get your food when you do pickup/carryout. Parking near the restaurant is tight and awkward. I recommend parking in the Safeway lot area, easier in/out. Word to the owner, keep your bathrooms clean. That's a huge tell about your business! During our visit, they were a mess. Hmm... We'll try again in the future and give it another chance. The SP area is a goldmine dying for a quality food establishment, I suggest you...
