As a local who lives within walking distance, we have been frequent customers of Pura Vida since they opened. I love to support a local community business and the good coffee and food is a plus. However, I was really sad this morning to hear that Abby is no longer with Pura Vida. Abby opened 5 days a week, she made the best coffee and she hustled always. Abby made my coffee almost every morning during my pregnancy, her positive attitude and smile always brightened my morning post partum on the days I have been struggling. I’ve never had such pleasant, consistent customer service - and while we support the weekend staff, please know Abby’s service and coffee is superior. This morning our order was incorrect and we had to wait several minutes despite no one else being there to make our order. It was watered down. I was really sad as I was looking forward to my morning coffee Abby style. we will decide if we return, do better and support your stuff who run your business full time....

Everyone who greets you at the stand is so warm and welcoming especially in this cold winter-spring weather, the service is so stellar and makes you feel special.
I HIGHLY recommend ordering the Costa Bowl, the peanut butter really compliments the Açaí 😭 It's soooo good, I think about this bowl literally everyday (which is what lead me to write this review bc I REALLY MISS IT!!!) to the point where I try to make a trip...
Read moreI had never been to a place with these types of bowls but always wanted to try it. I put it in my GPS because this particular day I wanted a healthier snack. I was shocked when I got there and saw it was actually a food truck! Didn't bother me so I got out to view the menu. Good options. I didn't know what to choose so I got a Nicoya bowl. It was just OK to me but that was my fault for jumping out there and picking something I knew nothing about. It just wasn't a good mix of fruit/toppings for my taste. However, I will be going back to try other things. The fruit was fresh, bowl was big and well made, friendly service and they even have a cute little setup if you want to sit outside and eat. If you're thinking about trying...
