Shark's Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Maryland

I usually don't give this low of a rating but the service was overall poor. Forgotten orders, bad quality food, poor customer service. I do enjoy the Cajun influenced menu but the actual environment is far off from what the idea reflects. I ordered grilled salmon, with collard greens. A turkey burger, with sweet potato fries.

Only thing I have to say about this location is that the owner should look closely at what he/she wants with the future of this location. My suggestion is to improve quality or reduce items on the menu. Please focus on flavor of the food and presentation. Salmon was dried and overcooked. Seasoning was overpowering and not properly cleaned (odor from the fish). I witnessed another customer complain about a similar issue after I had ordered and already paid. Something told me to inspect my meal before leaving because of the lack of care from the cashier.

I will not be back.

Message to Management - (7/27/2022) Hello, I understand that these post pandemic times are very difficult and demanding to maintain a high standard to please your customer base. However, I've seen that you business has people that cut corners and don't take the same respect to satisfaction that you do. Why did you not ask to speak to a manager -- Because the only people there were the cashier and the cook, no manager in sight. There were other complaints they were dealing with while in my presence. -- I made my post based on several reasons. Attention to detail, Service Quality, and food quality, I understand that orders made to order might have challenges. However, there's nothing on the menu about that, nor was I told this by the cashier at my visit. I seriously hope that you are capable of turning these problems around. If the quality continues to suffer. I'm afraid that this business might need to let someone else take up the opportunity. Best regards and luck to you...

Please do not go to this store unfortunately my first and only and very last experience with this store location. it's left a bad taste in my mouth to go to any location just because of these people on Crain Highway Marlton Roseville area. The amount that I paid was taken out obviously at time of service rendered on Saturday which is right around $23.30 I normally scribble in the tip section so no one can alter it. I find out today that my card has been charged with the exact same amount as my meal for my Dad and I and it is labeled as TIP. THIS IS VERY sheisty this is bad business I don't think it was an accident they're hoping people and others like them will not notice in this day of age where people are pinching pennies necessarily we're going to notice everything I went to use my card for gas and the money wasn't there I had exactly $30 in my account and then it disappeared. I'm REPORTING THIS LOCATION the only thing they could say to me was sorry and the person that handles this isn't in today that's not my problem if you run a business run it EFFICIENTLY or DON'T have a business. I am HIGHLY UPSET beyond words and I'm going to post this complain to my bank about it to report them BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU if they're even registered with them and since this is a franchise I'm going to report it all the way to the top. My husband and I went to the store in Upper Marlboro, md today. We ordered the fried oyster and shrimp po'boy combo, side oder of hush puppies and banana pudding. My combo was with no lettuce tomatoes, pickles just onion and tartar sauce along with wedges and sweet tea. His with no pickles, just fries and pepsi. $36 total. We got home and my order was wrong they included everything I did not want. The seafood breading came off and were pretty small. Oysters didn't taste so good. The wedges were hot, seasoned good and crispy! Fries not so much!! The sweet tea was good! The staff was friendly and informative! The place was nice and clean.
