Starbucks — Restaurant in Maryland

Ordered Americano with splenda and steamed cream. I don’t consume sugar for health reasons. Came home to taste coffee that’s pure syrup and see it has 10 packets of sugar on the label. Entire drink should be hot as I asked for steamed cream. My drive is 2 minutes. But it’s lukewarm. What happened? The location was not busy with in store customers and didn’t see pile up of mobile orders. Ruined my evening because I really looked forward to a hot Americano. Usually - I order this drink daily - it’s spot on. Really disappointed and don’t want to drive over again to get a replacement. Taste of syrupy sugar hard to get rid of. Waste of time and money 😞 Went back the next day and placed same order. Again, dame barista kept trying to ring up sugar and not Splenda. Made me pay for it although I spoke with her night before and she agreed it should be remade or refunded. Americano was lukewarm and I threw it out. Tried again the next day with different barista, same location. Splenda no problem but again it was lukewarm. Gave up. Will start going to...

Although the service was good and drinks accurate and hot I give less than high ratings to businesses that do not have handicap accessible doors, especially when they are businesses in new buildings. I don’t care if it’s “not required” in the building regs. I would like to request that this store make their entry and exit accessible to those who use walkers or are in wheelchairs. Otherwise they have to wait in hope that someone will come along and help. And don’t rely on that being a Starbucks employee! Today, I opened the door for a woman trying to exit Starbucks. She was using a walker and stood staring at the door while a Starbucks employee stood behind her staring at her phone! Good grief, I opened the door and the woman thanked me saying she wasn’t sure how she was going to open the door. I just said, it should have an automatic opener. The woman exited followed by the Starbucks employee who proceeded through the door with the straws she was delivering to a customer outside and thanked me also for holding the door! Starbucks...

This is my favorite Starbucks in Germantown. I have never experienced a wait or an incorrect order. Everyone that works there is very polite and helpful if you have any questions.

I usually order from the ap, walk in, and take off with my drink. It's always on the counter waiting for my arrival.

Covid update: They initially had a window type set up for orders but they have now opened up the store for customers. The door on the Giants side is the exit and the other door around the corner is the enterance. There are markings on the floor for where to stand in line. The pickup location is still on the far end of the store. They just pass you your drink under the plexiglass. It's nice that they don't just put them out on the counter for everyone to look through and touch. You do need to wear a mask to enter and all of the staff is also...
