So Iâve never been treated like a criminal by another minority . Ethiopian female with dreads to be exact . Walked in to wash my hands and grab a cup of coffee. On the way in this female almost tackled me to stop me and tell me I canât use the restroom without buying anything first . No hello or anything. As Iâm talking to her about this ânew policyâ a white gentleman walks in and she says nothing to him . Actually smiled at him and let him proceed to the bathroom . The district manager was there. Spoke with her and sheâs a Black woman. And sheâs ok with this type of behavior. She said nothing but asked me how was she supposed to speak to me. Iâve been coming to this location the past 6 plus months since Iâve moved here. Morning time and afternoon to spend my hard earned money. Iâll never come back here. Arrived at the store at 5:31 a.m., (a minute after they are supposed to be open), then when I attempted to get in, the doors were locked, two employees busying themselves inside... they looked up, without even acknowledging me, they went back to what they were doing... went back to my car as it was raining a bit. Waited 3 mins; went back to the door... again, they looked up but no acknowledgment or a sign of wanting to open the doors. I knocked... one of the employee looked up and gave me a hand signal to chill... while the other one stopped what she was doing and opened the door... forget an apology for not opening on time or the customary Starbucks customer greetings... neither of the partners acknowledge me and simply ignored me...
