Szechuan Express — Restaurant in Maryland

We just moved to the Abingdon area and enjoy the good food at Szechuan Express. The past 3 times we've ordered take out they have had quick delivery but tonight 9/12 the lady who answered was very rude said our house was out of the way (2 miles away??) and after giving my order then quickly stated that they only take cash and hung up on me. My wife called back the same employee answering, and stated that we had ordered at the restaurant and there was never a problem with delivery. The woman immediately stated they did not take credit, which is when we offered a check. She said she needed the number right now because of false checks they were receiving. My wifes aid that she just needed to go to our desk to get the check number when the employee said the same story again. My wife then explained she did not need to be rude, as the woman kept yelling. At this point, my wife stated that we no longer needed to give our MONEY and BUSINESS to a place that was argumentative and rude. It is safe to say, we will NOT be ordering from this establishment in the future. Unfortunately for Szechuan Express but fortunately for us we found Chinese boys (5 miles away and no problem with delivery) they also except credit cards and offers 2 free egg rolls...

The husband and I stopped at Szechuan Express today to place an order after our errands were done in Bel Air. We hadn't ordered anything in several years as we had moved 300 miles away. We finally escaped WV and bought a house in PA. Well, 25 miles for take-out food seemed a bit excessive, though we did it a few times, it was just too long a ride. Today we decided to go for it since we were in the area anyway, and hoped the food was still good. OMG it's as good, if not better, than I remembered. It’s probably been 7 or 8 years since we bought food at Szechuan Express, and I was SO PLEASED to discover they’ve maintained their high quality and delicious flavors. There’s a little Chinese food take-out place near us, and I’m grateful it’s nearby, but the food just doesn’t compare. (They don’t even have shrimp toast or serve pork, except for ham in the fried rice). Of course, we bought chicken-on-a-stick, shrimp toast, pork fried rice, pork lo mein, and the Four Seasons with chicken, shrimp, roast pork, and beef. There is more than enough food leftover for two or three more meals. All-in-all, we were very pleased and are looking forward to our next outing down to the traffic of Bel Air and the great food at...

Here at Szechaun Express, at Box Hill, you will be knocked off of your feet by the amazing food options, and the amazing care that goes into your food! Not to mention, the service, and atmosphere is mentionable to note! For starters, the food options. You can tell just looking at the menu that they will have something to fit your fancy any day of the week. The food is also cooked amazing, and packaged to stay warm. Secondly, the service. They give you your food with a smile on their face always, and make sure it is packaged amazingly. You can tell that they care you stopped at Szechaun Express out of all the other Chinese Food options near. Third, the atmosphere. Here, it is always nice to meet other people waiting for their food, and to greet the people behind the register! The atmosphere may not be the best, but is still amazingly good. In conclusion, the food options, and how they cook your food, the service, the packaging, the atmopshere, basically a lot of aspects are amazing here at Szechaun Express, Box Hill, MD. Highly...
