Tamberino's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Maryland

So I had a very long day second day of power outages in Darlington area so I decided to get the family subs burgers etc and order from a family owned business because we try to support family businesses in the area. So we ordered our food and asked the lady to repeat it because she had one of the hamburgers listed as a sub so when I corrected her to say it’s just a hamburger and she asked what Bread I replied white bread (thinking it would be on a hamburger roll) got back home which is half an hour away just to know that it was on sandwich bread. I called to ask why they would put it on sandwich bread for a hamburger and I supposedly talked to the owner dan who argued the fact I the customer was wrong and worker was right. Maybe whole conversation can be thought two different ways which is understandable but He was very rude for being an owner and threatened that he didn’t have to give me a credit and just said “well what do you want a credit or what?” I have worked for a family owned business for over ten years and would never speak to customers as rude as the owner did. They need to respect the people that give them business. I will not be going there again due to there customer service..completely uncalled for I would have never bothered to even write a review but learn how to talk...

Racist establishment. Walked in(the only black person in there)and let this white lady and her son in front of me so they could order, because I was still deciding on what I wanted to order. After the lady ordered, I stood in line and was not asked for my order. I was now the only person in line. The two lady's at the cash register avoided eye contact with me, and began socializing amongst themselves. The older lady was preparing the orders so I assumed she was too busy to ask for my order and gave her the benefit of the doubt. The younger girl was standing there biting her fingers, as if I didn't even exist. I waited patiently in line for at least 3 minutes(being the only person in line) and still was not asked for my order. Then a white lady walked in and she was promptly asked for her order, even though I'm standing in line. I left after that. They had a total disregard for my existence, and I'll be sure not to refer any of my friends or family members to eat at this establishment. I had the pleasure of carrying out from Tamberino's on my way home from an event. You can expect pizza dough with the perfect bit of crunch, tasty pizza sauce, quality cheese and other toppings. We asked for extra cheese and they did not disappoint - to my surprise, they understand what "extra cheese" means, and the amount of pepperoni was complimentary. We also ordered a cheese steak and again was beyond pleased. Tamborino's rolls have the perfect amount of crunch on the outside and are fluffy and fresh on the inside. Moreover, it was obvious that Tamborino's uses fresh beef, and you can taste the freshness. This restaurant is more than 30 minutes from my home, and we will definitely be making the trip more often or finding excuses to pass by to carry out again.
