I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shrimp Boat in Ocean City and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant exuded a relaxed and friendly vibe that made me instantly feel at ease. Now, let's talk about the highlight of the evening – the food. Shrimp Boat certainly knows how to serve up some mouthwatering seafood. The fresh shrimps were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection, leaving me craving for more. The salty huge oysters were a true delight, offering a briny burst of the ocean in every bite. It's safe to say that seafood lovers will find themselves in heaven at Shrimp Boat. But the seafood wasn't the only star of the show. The Bloody Mary cocktail at Shrimp Boat deserves special mention. It was a true masterpiece, with just the right balance of flavors and a perfect amount of spice. Sipping on this refreshing cocktail added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. On top of the delicious fare, the service at Shrimp Boat was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to answer any questions and provided top-notch recommendations.

We come here every time we are in OCMD! Last time we were here Storm was our server, and he knocked it out of the park! Excellent service, personable and funny, and he never missed a beat. The team running the place are extremely nice and know how to keep things moving, and also ensure your food is out quick! Just one thing for all the people complaining on here, and in person: Grow up and stop acting so entitled! Last time I was there a family was “investigating” available tables and then grilling the hostess as to why the tables are open and they aren’t sitting in them. Seriously???? This place is legit, and if you can’t find the patience to wait for awesome food, there are several fast food joints that can help! Or maybe you should stop by Hi-Tide Dispensary and get something to chill you out! We will be back anytime we are in the area! Shoot, I may drive down from Philly in the coming weeks just to smash some crabs!

We stopped in on a Sunday and got the mini feast special which included 6 hardshell crabs, 1lb of shrimp, 2 corn cobs, and hush puppies. We upgraded to the XL crabs for an additional fee. The crabs were DELICIOUS. The shrimp was ok, but not our speed and that is a personal preference. They seemed harder to peel than usual, and we do wish it was an option to get them headless although I was excited to try with head on! Something that really helped us enjoy this place was the fact that the owner, Joe, personally greeted us at our table and let us know that he was appreciative of us to have visited. We will support local businesses especially with personable owners and staff any day before chain. We were served wonderful food and a little extra comfort knowing our hard earned money was going to an establishment that cares about their customers. We will definitely be back again. OH and pricing was affordable.

Let me start by saying the outdoor seating is adorable!! The waitress was very nice. The food was not as spectacular as I was hoping. I got the lobster roll with fries. Its probably my fault for not even looking at the menu, I just asked if they had Lobster rolls on the menu and when the waitress said yes. I said I would have one. I am from New England so I am used to a whole different lobster roll. This was more of a cold lobster salad. There was too much mayo and celery in the mix, you could not even taste the lobster. It was super bland. The roll its self I feel like was stale, it broke apart while trying to eat it and I had to end up eating it with a fork. The fries are homemade and when they arrived were pretty good as long as they were hot. Again super cute place, would recommend to others to give it a try, just don't recommend the highlg overpriced underwhelming lobster roll.
