Victor's Deli — Restaurant in Maryland

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it used to be one of my favorite spots. the food was always delicious, well-prepared, and served on time. Unfortunately, my recent visit was a huge disappointment. I found out they are now under new management, and I decided to give them a chance. I ordered a French toast platter, but what I received was sloppy and poorly executed. The toast was completely soaked in egg, topped with way too much cinnamon but no sugar, and even my scrambled eggs had cinnamon mixed into them. Most of my order was missing, and when my sausage finally came out, it was burnt to a crisp. On top of that, the workers were difficult to communicate with. It was as if they didn’t understand what I was saying, and the whole process was frustrating from start to finish. I've been going here for years for breakfast. Never had their lunch items but I've heard a lot of good things about their subs. I would definitely recommend for breakfast. Sandwiches and platters are delicious and a good value.

Update: 1 year later and the food definitely is not worth it anymore! Last time we ordered a big sam and a bacon, egg, and cheese and neither one had any bacon. And this time we got a bacon, egg, and cheese with 1 ½ strips of bacon and a scrapple egg and cheese with the smallest piece of scrapple I have ever seen, didn't even cover half the sandwich. Amazing plain and simple. Victors Place is an establishment that really has no weakness at all. The food is on point! It's ALSO consistent, they make it great every time no bad days. And that goes for everything on the menu, no exceptions. Couldn't find a nicer family ran business than this, every person is very friendly and genuinely a nice person.
