First time, was amazing! Food and staff were great. Second time we went, I had a party of 6 in for lunch to celebrate our daughters birthday. We ordered our food and two entrees were the Buffalo chicken wraps. When the wraps came out, there was no Buffalo sauce in the wrap, so we had to ask the waitress to bring us out some Buffalo sauce. The wrap had little to no and very dry chicken in them. The wraps were mainly filled with chopped tomatoes and lettuce, almost appearing as a filler for the lack of chicken. We have ordered this in the past, and it was nothing like today. All of the fries for 5 of the entrees were mostly all burnt, the diet cokes were pretty flat as well. The personal pizza and two chicken tender entrees were good with the exception of the burnt fries. Also the turkey club was more bread than anything, also very different from previous times. When the check came out I noticed that I was charged for two chicken tender appetizers ($11), not kids meals ($7) even though both entrees were for kids. I did make the waitress aware which she corrected the issue but she said that she didn't ring them up as kids meals to begin with. It kind of came off as a bait and switch attempt. Although it could have been a honest mistake, she never acknowledged that it was a mistake nor was apologetic so that's why I felt there was an attempt to take advantage of me. Lastly, there was also a dead/smushed roach on the floor by our 8 chair table in the center of the restaurant, I would hope whoever stepped on it to kill it would at least have cleaned it up. All in all just a...
Read moreWe always want this place to be good because it’s really close to where we live, but we’re disappointed every time. The place looks great since the remodel, however, the food is subpar and the service is always terrible. The bartender was too busy smoking to take our order. We kept having to wave our hands to get her attention to get anything. There was a large group of men who came in after us and sat/ stood right beside our table. Instead of asking them to move over to any other table, since we were the only ones in the restaurant, the bartender came to our table and physically moved it over away from the men. And we had to move over. The cheesesteaks looked dry and not appealing. After getting her attention and asking for our bill several times, I finally went to the bar to pay. She was very nice, but my biggest regret (after choosing this place for dinner) was leaving her a $10 tip on a $50 bill. This place has the potential to be so good, but it’s really not. Unfortunately, we probably...
Read moreI had high hopes for this place after hearing it described as a 'hidden gem,' but unfortunately, my experience fell short. My father and I decided to grab lunch here, but our visit left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we found all the exterior doors propped open despite the chilly 40°F weather. As the only patrons, we were greeted by a waitress who seemed somewhat disinterested. After an awkward exchange, we seated ourselves and were informed that the chef had stepped out momentarily. While the service was friendly and apologetic, the food left much to be desired. The pretzel bites were disappointingly hard and lacking in salt, and the 'special' gyros resembled overcooked bacon rather than the savory dish we expected. Even the bread tasted stale. The only redeeming item was the onion rings, which we had to settle for due to a shortage of fries. Perhaps the experience is different on a bustling Friday night, but our lunch outing left us feeling underwhelmed. Regrettably, we won't...
