Corner Florist Inc — Local services in Arbutus

I don't know how this establishment received such high marks. Being objective, their arrangements are professionally done. However, their customer service and interactions are unprofessional and deplorable. There were customers waiting for service when I visited. One couple appeared intoxicated. To the business's defense they were not great. When this couple wandered off the staff openly denigrated them. Moreover, all the customers patiently waiting in line were African American. We all were waiting when a White male came in and was immediately assisted ahead of us. We were never acknowledged by the staff prior to him. I then asked for the flowers I had previously paid for. I was asked for my identification which I offered. But the staff member attending to me said that I looked trustworthy. I then informed that I hope so because I learned accountability and integrity from my military service. I am glad that some white establishments and whites themselves are starting to show their true colors. I don't really care about certain people's prejudice, politics, bias, and/or blatant racism. What I do care about is the type of service I receive. Money doesn't care about physiological differences. Apparently some at Corner Florist do. Others are more than welcome to spend their money at establishments that don't care for them. I, in the other hand, will not spend another dime at this places like this. And I will continue to do that anywhere regardless of race and ethnicity. I also understand that some people just do not like certain groups. In this current climate that is ok. I am glad because I can then spend my money at places that will offer me good customer service based on my money and not...

I placed a same-day delivery order to celebrate the 11 year anniversary of our auto tint man (shout out to Auto Tint King!) and Corner Florist absolutely blew me away with the price, customer service and gorgeous arrangement.

Jenn contacted me right away to let me know the car vase wasn't available, but a truck was available and she even recommended different flower colors that would match better. Upon request, Jenn sent me photos since I wouldn't likely see the arrangement in person, and oh my goodness it was out of this world! She even put his shop logo on the truck, what a personal and creative touch! It was a sweet surprise and know the business owner would smile when he saw it.

Auto Tint King received the beautiful, unique arrangement within just a few hours and it was a really special way to celebrate his business' anniversary. Thank you, Jenn and Corner Florist, for your impeccable taste, creativity and lightning service! We will certainly be back for future...

STAY AWAY! I Ordered sympathy flowers and they never arrived at the funeral home. Owner said driver delivered them so basically oh well. Owner was very rude and hung up on me. Other family members ordered flowers as well and they either were very late (owner said she had the wrong date) or didn’t show at all. Will NOT ever use this shop again.

IT WAS NOT THERE!! The deceased wife even spoke to you and told you that my flower did not arrive. The casket spray that she ordered did arrive as you stated Until after 3 o’clock when visitors were already there very irresponsible and unprofessional.
