Garbage store. Ridiculous employees. I stopped by around 11pm (they’re open until midnight. Pulled up to the drive thru. Sat there for quiet a bit and said “hello” a few times until the employee says “yeah”. No “can I help you? What would you like?”
The conversation I then had-
Silence. Then finally another “yeah “. I said “I’d like to place an order”. Another minute of silence. Me -“hello?” Him - “Yeah” Me- “I’d like to place an order? Can you hear me?” Silence. “I’d like a burger.” Silence again. Me-“ Can you hear me?” Silence AGAIN. Me- “Hello!” Him - “Theres a wait on the meat” Me - “Okay” Silence again (without exaggeration-the conversation had with this guy should’ve taken literally 20 seconds- he had us sitting there for at least five minutes). He repeats the “there’s a wait on the meat “ comment a couple more times. At first I thought this guy might be slow but at this point I realize he’s playing games and I demand to speak to the manager. I pull up to the window and he avoids looking over. He says something to the manager and she makes a dismissive gesture towards the drive thru window but also won’t look over. The only reason she came over was because I ended up having to toot my horn and I guess she realized I wasn’t going anywhere. I explained the “conversation” I just had with her employee and she apologized insincerely and kept making excuses for the guy. The one thing I wonder was, she also had on the headphones like the drive thru guy so did she hear the back and forth between us? I’m which case she didn’t care either. I told her I would be talking to the main store manager so I’m sure she’ll have an excuse to give that person by the time I...
Read moreThis is the 2nd time I have had this bad of an experience at this location, its literally Burger World from Bevis & Butthead with the duo's working ethic on full display. Cars waiting 20 minutes or longer (I was there for 25 minutes) until they eventually leave or the employees visibly goofing off near the drive through windows in view of the leaving customers. As I mentioned I waited for about 25 minutes until I decided to take my business down the road to McDonalds (who had 6 cars in the drive through including my own) and got my order filled in less then 5 minutes. I wont be going back for a 3rd time, Wendy's Corp should do themselves a favor, close this location and save themselves the money and bad publicity. Whomever is running the night shifts needs to be replaced along with those working those shifts.
@Wendys Corp: I realize the odds of someone from corporate actually looking at this review let alone having the power to do anything is slim to none, but for the prices you charge for your food your customer experience should at least meet if not exceed your competitors. You should either be on par with McDonalds or Burger King, or strive to be on par with Chic fil A to surpass the other two. Read moreMy wife and I pulled into this Wendy’s location and immediately noticed a sign out front that said breakfast til 10:30am which was perfect considering we wanted some lunch. We weren’t sure if we heard the correct response to the car prior to us but we absolutely heard right. We pull up to the drive-through sign and was told by a woman over the intercom that there would still be a 10 minute wait for lunch and was in complete shock to check what time it was, it was 11:10am so obviously I pulled off as it had long since been lunchtime everywhere including at Wendy’s. As we are pulling off we realize that not only is someone outside smoking but also there was an employee sitting inside doing nothing. This place needs real management. Won’t be back and it’s sad considering there is not a lot of Wendy’s around and we enjoy the food....
