Rapid River Dairy Flo — Restaurant in Masonville Township

We’ve been coming here every summer for the last 20 years or so. Love it every single time and a summer camping trip isn’t complete without Dairy Flo every night. Haven’t noticed any changes even with different owners, but I did especially appreciate the extra white fencing along Route 2 and the sidewalk, since cars tend not to slow down to the speed limit of 35 and it can get nerve wracking, especially waiting in line with a toddler. I also love the extra seating on the other side of the building. Great service and great ice cream! PS Always carry the Michigan Fried Cherry Pie...

They don’t take credit or debit which is pretty ridiculous in this day and age of electronic money. Even small shops like this should have a little reader. Especially since more and more people are unlikely to carry cash. I guarantee we’re not the only ones passing through who want to stop for ice cream not carrying a giant lump cash. All employees have been super nice and this ice cream is the best around. They use Jilbert's milk which is so good. So many choices, hard to choose!
