Subway — Restaurant in Mathiston

Deleted my original review to post this one although it may still show up if so i still stand by it and just add this to it. went in today and saw a girl outfront working by herself while the guy (who had a wolf tattoo on his arm) was either in the back or on the gas station side while she did everything. When he did help her, he was rude and had an attitude with her. That was very unprofessional. Made me very uncomfortable when he attempted to flirt with me while he was making my sandwich; along with flirting with the other females who came in. That was very unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. Her service was great! She was very polite and was quick but wasn't messing up like he was. He was in such a hurry he was messing up orders or constantly asking what they wanted. I will continue to go in if she is working, and request her to make my sandwich if the guy is in there. Everyone else I have encountered (except for the girl in my previous review who had tattoos and was very rude) has done an excellent job and great service! To those sandwich artists keep up the good work! Note I only changed my review cause no grown male should treat a young lady that way when working with her. Will recommend if the 2 listed are not in there. Edit: overheard her talking to the manager who appears to want to do nothing about the situation or trying to have her settle it when it's his job. Please fix this issue!

Great place, food was great, service was great, and they were laughing and talking with everyone which made the atmosphere so much better! A couple times they would have to ask about something small on the order that they forgot, but that is fine and they're human like everyone else they're gonna forget something especially after they have been busy. It was super clean as well. Now the couple evenings i went in there one girl/boy did most of the work the other (who had tattoos) just stood at the register complaining about her job and her personal life that did not need to be shared in the environment. So I made the personal choice to get Subway before the night shift comes in. Keep up...

There was one table for customer seating in the subway area. It had drinks and a phone sitting on it. These belonged to the employees, who made no attempt to care at all.

There was an old man in front of me. He didn't want the small handful of wilted lettuce that still remained in the bin, so he asked for fresh lettuce. The gal behind the counter started arguing with him that it was the same as in the new container. She got a new container, and gave him the fresh lettuce. When he looked away she threw the old lettuce on as well.

Garbage employee...

Great service and good people. Many positive interactions everyday yet people only post reviews about the one in a hundred negative interaction. Every fast food establishment has there ups and downs as they go through good and bad employees. The owners of this Subway are on top of things and correct things asap. They care about there customers dearly. Any issues, bring it to the manager attention, they are there to help and they will get you taken care of.
