Arby's — Restaurant in Mattoon

I am writing this review because of the exceptional and friendly service I received when I visited the drive through on July, 17 2024 late in the evening. The young lady and young man who were working at the time were extremely pleasant, friendly, and respectful. They were clean and well-kept in appearance and represented the store in a very positive way. I comment here because a number of years ago this used to be the norm. Now, it is a rare exception. I received a printed receipt for my order that I need for company expense reimbursement. The only problem is that you can't read it. It appears on the receipt to be a 3 dollar purchase instead of 13, When I inquired about a reprint for a cleaner copy I was very promptly told "no, this printer is broke, that one is broke and so that one over there is the only one we have and so it is what it is." I asked again, "is there no other way of receiving a legible receipt for my order?" Again, I was told no, it is what it is and that is all they can do for me. Horrible customer service...

Clean and staff was smiling and friendly. Waited patiently for 5 of us to order. Food came quickly and was hot. I took a chance on the traditional Gyro. It is very good for a quick service restaurant. Pota was soft and fresh, meat not as seasoned as one from a Greek restaurant but was tender, veggies are very fresh and the sauce tasty.
