As I walked up the building is in rugged condition, wooden shingles with old bricking (Not up to date with code) The customer service was quick and friendly but not quick where it counted(We ordered the family pack and the total was $21.09 I handed her 22$ and never received change because she rushed off somewhere) As I got to the drink counter it was obvious they didn't take Covid into full effect with thier condiments. Everyone was just grabbing the drink flavorings bare skinned and everything else on that counter(which hasn't been cleaned for a good hour or so considering the stains were kinda fresh) The food was served to customers quick but it was atrocious. As I reach into the bag for the first burger my hand Is soaked from grease. I proceeded to open the 4 burgers one by one, this is where I just ended up leaving with 22$ wasted. The burgers tasted like fish and so did the fries, one burger had a long hair on it inside the cheese which I pulled from my mouth. Also every burger was literally dripping with grease without me squeezing it. The table literally had oil running across it from it leaking through the wrapper.( My girlfriend literally laughed at me for wiping thier table off because of the nasty grease all over) If I could rate this restaurant any...
Read moreWe were a little bit disappointed with the restaurant. We drove all the way from Terre haute, indiana, to try the hamburgers and found them to be very small. My hamburger literally look like it was just me that had been scraped off of the fryer and put on a bun. It did not have the thickness of an actual hamburger. Nor did my son's hamburger. My son said that his hamburger had no taste. My girlfriend did enjoy her double hamburger though. The onion rings were pretty good as were the French fries. The ice machine was out so we had to have them fill up our ice cup before we could get drinks. The food is pretty expensive for the size of the actual meat you get. For three people we ended up spending about $30, which I guess is not horrible if you got a decent size hamburger. But I cannot overstate the thinness of the hamburger I received. The meat literally look like a sheet of paper. We made a special trip driving here so my son could try it and found it to be nothing of note to eat. We definitely will not make the trip back again but it was a one time experience that we can cross off the list. Disappointed that it was not worthy of further trips in the future. The people that work there seem to be nice in the parking was okay. There was plenty of...
Read moreThis place is great. The food is fast but it is not fast food. Go sit down and wait for them to call your number.
I had a double bacon cheeseburger with large side of batter dipped and crunchy onion rings and a large drink, all for under $9.
Since time immemorial, I have dipped my onion rings in ketchup. It is about the only time I use ketchup unless nothing else is available. I got my drink and there was no ketchup to be found with a nice selection of condiments. There was barbecue sauce, so I took that.
I eventually found the ketchup, it is right next to the food counter.
I decided, however, to try out the sauce. I threw some on my burger and chowed down. The burgers are great, definitely a main attraction. The bacon was freshly cooked, not oven baked and kept hot, and the patties were generous, but not too big. I am comfortably full right now.
I tried the sauce on the rings and ... just wow. It is very sweet and pleasantly spicy. I catch a strong chili powder vibe that is not at all unpleasant. It is "Blues Hog" brand ( I asked) and bought a bottle for all of my nears and dears to try.
I have lived in this area my whole life and this was my first time trying out the original Burger King.
It will...
