Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Mattoon

Took almost an hour and a half to get our food using 2 separate delivery drivers because apparently the first one cannot read an address correctly. I'm very specific about the address so there is NOT ANY CONFUSION. Called back after waiting 45 min the first time and then again after another 20 min. Then we finally got our food and husband's sandwich was not made how we ordered it and it was on the receipt, but clearly looking at the sandwich there is NOT X MAYO OR X SAUCE on it whatsoever. Spoke with the manager about the delivery issue but he didn't know what to say about it. I'll have to check and see if he made the changes like he said he would. Really DISAPPOINTED. Miranda was the WORST person I have ever dealt with anywhere customer service wise. I don't know who hired her, but I'm wondering how she even got a job working with people. When I came up to order my food, she literally said "what do you want" with an attitude, she dropped my money down on the counter (didn't even hand it to me) and she forgot my cup for my drink so I asked her for it politely because I figured she was having a bad day (regardless, you don't bring your attitude into you work place) and she literally tossed it at me and turned around and asked the next person "what do you want" with an attitude! I’ve had quite a love/hate relationship with Jimmy John’s lately.

According to former employees, management has changed which has led to short staffing and subsequently I have noticed that pickup and delivery times have went up over the last year or two.

That’s the only reason I’m giving this visit a 4 out of 5. The wait time. I was in line to pickup an online order for around 10-15 minutes, though I did receive an apology from the employees working as they looked short staffed.

Other than that, the new Jalapeño Chicken Wrap is fire. The crispy jalapeños that goes on the wrap give it a nice texture boost. The jalapeño ranch is delicious.
