Tea was ok. Cashier was so rude. This was our first time at a boba tea shop. Of course we had some questions - very rude, very short. acted we were an inconvenience to her. Took her 5 mins to even come out and serve us. Their menu in the store doesn’t tell what type of teas they are…. So we asked if it was green tea, she was really rude about it and made me feel dumb for even asking…. How am I supposed to know what tea you’re using? Then after the teas were done. Didn’t say nothing. Just had them on the counter and walked away. Wont be going here again.

First time visiting, recommended by the lovely folks at Graffti Body Wax next door. The hawaiian sunset with popping Boba is a sweet and fragrant masterpiece. No two sips were the same and yet it was all completely balanced and harmonious. The flavor took me back to when I was little, sneaking down to the bottom of the playground and eating honeysuckle with my best friends. When food invokes such a pure core memory, it's five stars for me!

Me and my little cousin went to Ding tea before getting food for our family, VERY excited to try boba for the first time (my little cousin had boba before) the wait was very long. We got our boba only to discover that the best part was not in there. We had figured out that the actual BOBA was an add on! It was very watered down. I would not recommend going there, if you’re looking for a boba place please just take the longer drive.

Okay tea, terrible service. Walking in me and the other person I was with weren’t greeted, the cashier just approached the register while we were looking at the menu and just stared at us, no questions no customer service at all. Then we proceeded to ask questions and she gave us very vague info in a very annoyed and condescending tone. Since we felt uncomfortable and didn’t want to ask anymore questions to avoid annoying her even more, we ordered 2 slushes, we waited and when we received them we found out this place makes their slushes with milk, which should’ve been disclosed to us as we could’ve had a milk allergy but no it was just served like that, we walked out in a bit of shock because we’ve never experienced a slush being made with milk and we didn’t know what to say. We then proceeded to go back inside and the cashier looked at us with dread and annoyance, we explained to her that we’ve never had the slushes with milk and that we didn’t know that’s how they made them. She then gave us a very dismissive response that that’s just how they make them and that slushes can’t have a tea base they only come the way she made them, we then just asked her to please make something else for us, we opted for something more basic and less complicated since we didn’t want to continue being a bother to the cashier. We got our drinks and left so displeased, unwanted and uncomfortable. The only reason this gets 1 star is because the 2 round of drinks she made for us were okay. It was an almost 20$ experience that I don’t recommend to anyone, it’s not worth the tea, it’s not worth the money, it’s not worth custom service because...

We were here yesterday afternoon and ordered a Thai Milk Tea,Matcha Milk Tea,and a Vanilla Milk Tea.My Thai milk tea just tasted like milk, idk what they did but it was nasty I only drank a few sips(the last few times I’ve been to Ding tea this drink has tasted milky and no flavor)the matcha milk tea was definitely not sweet enough and didn’t even taste like matcha more of like a milky blah taste, the Vanilla milk tea just tasted like Vanilla cereal milk so of course my daughter liked it.Then we also ordered 2 bubble waffles which were both burnt and we ordered 2 matcha cream toppings for them,we paid went and sat down the cashier tells to us they only have 1 matcha topping so we get a taro topping. It was so loud in there and the 3 employees were just sitting around talking and acted aggregated when we came in it was a miserable experience not to mention 2 of us couldn’t drink our drinks as they were not good, and the kids only ate about 1/4th of their bubble waffles because they were so burnt, and the matcha topping sauce tasted old.I understand this location is fairly new but they either need to train their employees better or get new ones&im not the only one thinking this,I’ve talked to a few other people that frequent the Haywood Road location that said they wouldn’t be back to the Mauldin location.Definitely not worth the $43 I wasted in there including a tip they did not deserve.I don’t think we will be back at...

Went 5/3 and the wait time was ATROCIOUS. It was full and very loud inside due to the K-Pop event going on. Drinks were steadily leaving the kitchen and heading out the doors, but we had to stand off to the side and wait for our drinks for an exorbitant amount of time.

The drinks were absolutely delicious and I will definitely come back for those, and the girls working behind the counter and making the drinks were super nice. But my goodness, I think we had to stand there for 30 minutes waiting!

The K-Pop event is strange. Is this something Ding Tea hosts? If so, why? The tables set up in the establishment for the K-Pop event take up a lot of room, and there isn't really anywhere to stand while you wait for your drinks (we were forced to squish into the corner between the door and the counter while we waited). Would be nice if there was a place inside for paying customers to sit. I understand there are tables set up outside, but it's too hot to stand outside for 30 minutes while you wait for your drinks.

UPDATE: Dropped to 1 star for continously bad service. I won't be coming back...
