Mauldin Park — Attraction in Mauldin

Love going to this park to walk on the trail! Now let me vent! I can not believe the people that leave trash behind, was there one Sunday afternoon there was a large party at one of the shelters kids and adults every where, the shelter, playground and they were sitting on the baseball field. I came back Monday morning to walk and couldn’t believe the trash they left behind.of course the maintenance people cleaned it up but come on people they provide you with a nice place with picnic shelters, bathrooms, playground and you leave the place like that! The playground is NOT good for toddlers/little kids. There is no separation between the little kids slide and the big kids climbing sections and slide, so it is actually dangerous for toddlers/little kids. My son is almost 2 and the slide is way too high for him to do. The platform at the top of that slide/climbing sections is too high for me to reach him, so I wouldn’t be able to prevent him from trying to use those sections.
