Horrible experience from beginning to end. We went on Mother's Day after making a reservation days early. When we arrived our table wasn't ready and they seemed oblivious as to our reservation. We were lucky that there were a couple of tables free or we would've been forced to wait in spite of making a reservation. There were only 2 waiters working so the service was extremely slow. We never received any menus so we had to go on their Facebook to read them. Took about an hour to get our first plate of appetizers. When we asked about the second ones they asked if we wanted them to go (implying they hadn't even begun cooking them), but we said we wanted to eat them there. After about 15 minutes we asked again and the waiter told us he didn't think they were coming out at all. My chair broke about half way through the meal and I fell on my back in front of everyone. I wasn't hurt, but the waiters didn't get the manager or owner. Nobody offered us a formal apology, comped our meal, or even offer us a free desert. The main course took around 2 hours to arrive, and none of the side dishes were ready with it. When we asked about the side dishes they once again asked if we wanted them to go, but went on to bring them to us about half an hour after the main course. Overall we spent about 3 hours in spite of arriving at a low traffic time. I have no intentions of ever eating...
Read moreFantastic options for all. We took my father in law and friends for a birthday celebration. There were two vegetarians in our group and a range of ages and appetites. The waitress was helpful, efficient, and friendly. They served some wonderful house sangrias as well as a house fruit punch for the alcohol avoidant. The hummus de gandules was a wonderful local take on this classic. The entrees were all delicious. A particularly picky eater cleaned her plate of lobster ravioli quickly. Had I not left my phone at home I would have some photos to share. Trust me, the presentation was lovely and unpretentious. Deserts included a calabasa ice cream that was much enjoyed, a cheese flan that was fantastic, I tried that. I ordered the creme Brule. It was not bad, but not among the best that I have had. Stick with the flan or the ice cream, those were well loved...
Read moreSuch hospitality! They took my boyfriend and I in 30 minutes before close; I am pretty sure they had a slow night and were looking on closing early but the GM/owner(?) was so sweet and welcoming. She recommended a couple of plates and their house sangria to us (white, red, and passion fruit); it was delicious. We decided on Manchego Croquetas as an app and the Salmon and Halibut as our entrees; they did not disappoint! Try the champagne sauce, it’s delectable. The chef (maybe also an owner) came out to check on the food and was incredibly sweet. They also took in a couple a couple of minutes before close and gave them the same treatment so you know they are genuine. The ambiance is also very classy. We will definitely be back next time we are...
