Mid-Town Drive-In — Restaurant in Mayfield

I went an ordered 4 pieces of catfish an I paid 2.00 per fish. It took 25 minutes for me to get them an then when they handed me the plate with my 4 pieces of fish it was so light I almost said something but I didn’t but when I got in my car an opened the plate I thought you have got to be kidding me. It was very brown an pretty an was a piece of fish that had been cut in middle to make 2 pieces an was cooked so long that I would have had a fish stick with more fish than this both ends were just crust about an inch both ends.I will not go get fish there again an would tell my friends an family not to either!! Sorry I have never given anyone a bad review till now but Really I would have been ashamed to have sold that to...

Mmmmm, good. Bout all I can say about the food. It's an old school hole in the wall BBQ/Burger joint that has been around since the dinosaurs were ordering shakes with their burgers. I probably don't want to see the kitchen, but I don't have to, because its just good food. Your classic, "don't judge a book by the cover" places (like 99.9% of all good BBQ joints in the South). Have eaten there many times over the years and am rarely ever dissapointed. One of my Favorite go to places when I don't feel like cooking dinner that I will eat at until The Lord takes me home. Can't go wrong with Mid Town. Burgers, Dogs, BBQ, Shakes, ...its all good....

It's a great little local place where you can get great burgers, fries & shakes. They offer limited seating & limited lunch specials kind of like meat & 3. They are akin to an old fashioned drive-in but you walk in to order. You can sit at the little bar space or in a small dining area. There is primarily locals here & often the ladies know the names of the customers...
