Hart's Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in McDonald

Wife and I shared a small salad, fried clams appetizer, and a veggie calzone. Food, service and value was excellent. Wife and I felt the atmosphere was pretty poor though for a few reasons. 1.) The entrance seemed very backwoods bar like. Good for a bar, bad for a restaurant. 2.) The entrance smelled of smoke coming from the separate bar area, but once we entered the restaurant area the smell of smoke disappeared.

We will definitely eat there again. If they improved the atmosphere we would eat...

Went here on first night of lent. Took forever to get a waitress. Watched them wait on a dozen tables that came in after us. Finally got a waitress to inform us that menu is limited fish, shrimp, and wings. They ran out of fish before 7? We left didn't order won't be back! Who runs out of fish on first day of...

Hart's will never get a Michelin star. But it provides a much-needed place for McDonald families to gather for a quick and easy bite.

I'm thankful it's there when I need a place in McDonald (my hometown) to meet up with members of my family for breakfast or lunch.
