Cashier and MOD are so slow and plain rude (yelling from the kitchen that “we don’t do that” at the first cashier who asked for help TWICE versus walking up and seeing what she needed help with) and clearly have a severe lack of training like on simply adding the $1 off reward that showed up on their screen when I ordered.
Nicole (the only one that was polite but clueless) asked for help at the drive-in as I was ordering, when I said I wanted to redeem the award on the screen.
She went to ask for help and came back and said it would automatically apply to my ticket with the check in…
I took a photo of the screen just in case, since she didn’t seem sure when she said it, and sure enough, got my food and receipt, and it’s not added.
That’s when she asked for help the second time, now at the pick-up window, when the MOD starts YELLING from the back that there’s no special like that and we don’t do that, etc.
I said if she’d stop yelling and come look at the photo I took as proof that I’m sure we could get it fixed.
The poor cashier, completely clueless, hands me back the receipt and says one second.
I wait, then the RUDE second cashier who has been standing there the whole time, opens the window and says, “Who are you?”
I said I was just waiting on Nicole on an issue with my order, and she cut me off and said to pull around to the side so they could take care of the ones behind me. I get that and agree to move, although she was so rude about it and didn’t seem promising either.
So I pull around where she said, and wait, and wait, and see car after car drive around me that was behind me.
I waited for over 10 minutes, ate my food, even tried calling twice with no pick up which is understandable, but now I’ve been lied to twice: once about the reward being applied, then pulling around for assistance, and simply staying out of principal to see if the situation would be rectified professionally if at all.
I wait a couple more minutes, see Nicole actually walk out and leave, then decided this is getting ridiculous, so I parked and walked inside.
I’ve already spent too much time for them to just ignore me outside and just wanted to get it taken care of.
A third cashier comes up to me, so I had to re-explain everything again, to which she walks away while I’m explaining and starts holding her finger up for me to wait, and saying how busy they are with so many orders (about four more cars in drive thru and no line inside, really not that busy just super slow service) to which I said I understand because I was one of those orders and been waiting forever too.
She comes back with what I’m assuming is the MOD, who was disheveled looking and asked “Okay so what’s going on?” so I had to explain it a third time and that I just don’t appreciate being lied to and then told to pull around and wait when clearly no one had intentions of ever coming out and helping me.
No apologies, or “our mistake” or anything, just pops open the drawer and hands me a dollar and all but says to get out, but that was the underlying tone.
I was just so exhausted at that point I just said thanks although it really shouldn’t have taken so long and walked out.
You can bet I’ll be skipping this one which I stop at almost every road trip! The one in Atoka is better and exponentially...

They must be under new mgmt...the place was nasty!!! While waiting at the counter where the tea pots were, in front of the Icee machine, I could see layers and layers of fuzz and goop and it was running down the cabinet. The counters, tables and floors were so sticky. I was there for about 45 mins and not one person cleaned anything...they were too busy laughing and talking in the kitchen.
And the new order kiosk...don't use it!! I had to go back to get my drink and the manager told me that the kiosk doesn't let them know we ordered drinks. I asked then how will they know, she said to tell them. I said what's the point of the kiosk then, especially when I have to wait for you to acknowledge me so I can get my cup?? She said nothing back, but finished the drive thru order while someone else got my cup for me.
They took out the waiting line poles for that machine and the floors look bad now. The holes it left are large and black with quarters glued in the middle..
I will NOT go there again until it gets cleaned up...

Orginal post: Taco bell seems to have gone downhill. Yah, I know that it may be silly to say that about a restaurant who's clame to fame is clogging toilets but hear me out. Some of their menu items used to be worth that bathroom trip and for a couple of bucks you could really fill your belly. But man oh man. What happened? I got the grande nachos box and not even the extra cheese I requested could help how incredibly bland it was! It seams they may have forgotten to add salt to their various food like substances this go round. And why get rid of ALL your best stuff? Chili cheese burrito, gone, Mexican pizza, gone, quesalupa, gone, again. And that's just 3 of many awesome items they no longer serve. What's the point of going now? So I can get an anemic chicken quesadilla that I KNOW someone managed to accidentally drop some lettuce in? Warm lettuce, mmmmmm, NOT! And don't get me started on a naked chicken somthing or other that would leave even Frankenstein's monster scratching his head. I want instant diarreah just as much as the next guy, but not enough to eat...
