J's Mainstreet Ice Cream and Hot Dog Shoppe — Restaurant in McKean

My family happened upon J's during an Erie vacation and could not have been more pleased! We all had hotdogs and ice cream. Being a Chicagoan I was pretty happy with their Chicago dog and actually appreciated that they diced the pickle and tomato! My boyfriend loved his hot dog with bacon and cheddar. We both had the Blue Moon soft serve and it was incredible! The service was great - the girls behind the counter had great suggestions when I asked them what their personal favorites were. I love going here it so good I have always been able to go and chose something new no matter if it is a milkshake a slushy hard severed soft severed there so many options. It's a well know erie place after inevent people come there to celebrate with a nice treat this is my favorite place to be. When I get my ice cream I can go have a seat under a tree or in the sun to eat my delicious treat. I strongly recommend that you come and visit. This family-owned ice cream and hotdog shop is awesome. And they have so much more than just ice cream and hotdogs! Their french fries are out of this world! Great place to stop by with the family. There was a little bit of a line, but It went fast and everything was perfect with our order. We did the family special which is super easy and then we went back and got dessert!
