Christy Park Cones — Restaurant in McKeesport

Im a legit foodie, I live 4 food, came here on my break figured Id give it a try due to all the rave reviews. Ordered chilli cheese dogs :/ it was meh, i dont understand how this place has 5 stars or even 4 stars. Who uses liquid cheese on a chilli dog? What happened to actual melted cheddar?BTW the cheese has no flavor. The chilli has no flavor no kind of zing, i can get a better one at Sheetz or Cedar Point for that matter. Im eating these because Im starving, if not for that these dogs would be in the trash. Disappointed. As for ice cream..ill stick...

The most disappointing strawberry shortcake I've ever had. $4.50 gets you the smallest piece of shortcake and I mean it. It was no thicker than 3/4 of an inch and literally hard as a rock so I'm guessing it was either left out or frozen. Felt like it was frozen and very disgusting. The strawberries were in a sauce which made it more an expensive sundae. My family check out alot of the mom and pop ice cream places around but I won't be going back here. Theee best icecream in the entire area! They use the best ingredients & top notch mixes & that makes for a delicious icecream treat!! I'm never able to finish my cones, but I am SURE to eat every bite when I get Christy Park Cones!! The staff of young people are always so friendly and welcoming, too.
