Place was dirty when we walked in. Bartender greeted us however needed to find the host in order for us to be seated. It appeared as if they had a rush leave as we were walking in. No pre-bus or anything. Our server greated us with chips and salsa. The lighter color salsa had the most flavor the red was extremely watery with absolutely no taste. I order the Baha fish tacos, husband order the quesadillas. My fish tacos were fried extremely hard, smelled really fishy and had absolutely no flavor to them at all, hell the Tortilla they were laid on didn't even come up to make a full taco (as if they weren't made to.proper size). Waited for our server to come but instead had to seek her out.. the manager (I believe she was) came up and asked what was wrong, explained the situation and she took my plate to the back and ate or tried the taco I hadn't bit off of, came back and said that the taco was perfect due to her eating them "all the time" then said I'd need to order something else due to their tacos not being "for me"and left. I didn't order anything else and husband decided to take his food Togo. No apology or "how can I make this better for you" ever came out of anyone's mouth. This was our first and final time here. Rice and refried black beans also no flavor, there isn't any salt or pepper on table either. Had great hopes for this...
Read moreI’m not kidding when I say this is the MOST mediocre restaurant I have ever eaten at in my entire life. The food isn’t bad but it’s also not good. The service isn’t bad but it’s also not good at all. It’s mediocre at best. I tried the gauc which was pretty good but could definitely use some flavor. Got the plain queso, that I liked (i ordered it plain so I didn’t expect a lot of flavor there). The rice tasted like those 90 second microwave rice packs from the grocery store. Absolutely terrible. Also, they don’t cut the quesadillas and the chicken they put inside are GIANT chunks. It was difficult to eat cause the giant chunks of chicken kept falling out. Tried to cut the quesadilla myself for my kid & it just fell apart because of the giant chunks of chicken. Taco Bell’s are a million times better. I feel like a fast food restaurant should not be better than a restaurant like this. At the end of the day, this restaurant lacks flavor and the employees lack energy and personality. The price does not match the quality of food, atmosphere or service. I think they should lower the price of the food or up their flavor and service. I wouldn’t mind paying this price if they made some small changes. They sit right in the middle for me. A couple of changes could make this place really nice or...
Read moreI stopped in for a late lunch today while I was out today after a meeting, I have driven by many times but decided to stop and give it a try. It was close to 3:30, so not many patrons inside.
The decor is clean and uncluttered. I decided to sit outside on the small patio, the tables and chairs are colorful with a bright yellow awning overhead.
I had chips and salsa delivered immediately, served with two salsa options, one red, one green. Both salsa's have a good flavor.
Then I sat, and sat, and sat.
I hadn't eaten all day so was incredibly hungry so went inside to the bar and asked for a server to come out and see me and ordered a beer from the bartender. Walking back to my table the beer is warm so I turn right around and asked for a cold one. Bartender laughs and says he just put them in the fridge. 🙄
The server finally came out and was friendly, took my order and had some good suggestions from the menu. I ordered a sour cream enchilada and a Baja fish taco (with no tomato or onion) rice and borracho beans. The Baja fish taco came out unfortunately with onions that I picked off but still tasted very strongly of onions. The enchilada had a creamy sauce and was really nice but rice and beans were very bland.
I don't often give 2 stars but the experience was worthy of it in my...
