Boomarang Diner McLoud — Restaurant in McLoud

I went in the Boomarang Diner in Mcloud today in the early afternoon. I requested a pepsi to go. While waiting for my change from one server, another server came from the kitchen to me tell me I had to leave and was no longer allowed in Boom-A-Rang. As I leaving I asked if this was because I said I would post awareness in Mcloud that they had a registered sex offender working there? I did not get an answer from her.

As I was leaving, I saw the manager and supervisor behind the building. I approached them to ask if I was not allowed in Mcloud Boom-A-Rang or "all" Boom-A-Rangs? I did not get answer, instead I was called an "Old Hag" and told to leave or she would call the police. I replied I had the Chief personal cell phone, and I could call them myself, if she felt the need required such. It was repeated for me to leave and I wasn't given the opportunity to ask my question.

Mcloud is a small, quite mini Mayberry. We have one 4-way stop sign. We have a police department that enjoys the luxury of closing on holidays. We care and look after each other. Families have generations invested here. If Boom-A-Rang feels I should be banned from their locations because I am making this town, our people, friends and family "aware" of who-is-who; then so be it. I will not apologize, I have been met with gratitude from fellow mothers, grandmother's, fellow church members and business operators with this insight.

I would preferred a manager or higher up to ask me to leave and inform me if it were "all" Boom-A-Rangs or just Mclouds. But it is what it is. I can get my pepsi's anywhere...

Mind boggling lol. 4 tries to make a burger. First off, I want to open with stating that this wasn't my first time here. I frequent this restaurant. Most of my visits the food is great and the service is as well. Cool little diner with tasty burgers....This particular time, my last visit..., things went way wrong. The server repeated my order back to me. Brought me the burger made wrong. They took it back and remade it incorrectly again. They took it back and remade it a 3rd time. Only to bring it back wrong again. All I asked for was no cheese on the thing and to add bacon. Basically a bacon burger with no cheese or mayo. After that I kinda lost my patience and threw my hands up. Said I give up. Let me just pay for my wife's food and let's call it a loss. Manager finally stepped up and asked what I was supposed to have had. He offered to make it. Which he did and did a superb job at it. However this time they didn't give my fries back which I'd paid for already. They ended up making me fries to settle it up. In this visit they took 4 tries to make a simple burger then forgot my fries to boot. Mistakes happen. I get that. Everyone gets a free pass here and there but not that many lol. They've got lots for locations so I think I'm still a fan, just not if this location for a while till maybe they get themselves sorted out a bit better. I hope they pull...

I only hit 1 star to get to the review. Just walked in and was asked what we want i asked if they had lemonade. She said yes and walked away to get it but didnt give us a chance to order our burgers. She then went behind the counter and starting putting stuff up. 2 minutes later she gets 2 cups of ice. Then starts helping another customer (he was paying his bill). Pours lemonade in 1 glass, stops and grabs a bottle of ketchup. Then goes in the kitchen. She made eye contact twice. We left. It was so rude and weird. I guess only regulars get service. There were 2 men, and a table of about 6 people. She wasn't waiting on the table. So she wasn't super busy and there was NO excuse for the way we were treated. The "waitress" was weird. And i just posted this on Facebook. A friend who lives in Mcloud said she and her hisband went in and not once did the girl even act like she was going to wait on the. Took a phone order then ignored them til they walked out too!!! What is up with this??? An hour later, another friend chimes in that her parents were treated the same way. I think you need to hire new staff or stay close and watch what they do....
