If I could give no stars I definitely would but I’m also honest and the food here and atmosphere are superb but definitely have big problems to work out. Came in last Sunday with my husband our son and a friend of ours around 7pm. We ordered two chorizo dips and a queso dip. We never got our queso which no big deal we way over ordered on the dips honestly. My husband orders two chimichangas both ground beef and I myself ordered two chimichangas one ground beef and one chicken. They came out with the wrong meat on the ground beef chimichangas. When our waitress came back to the table we asked her to replace them with what we ordered and she proceeded to tell us she would get them but we would have to pay for them and when I was confused as to why they would charge me to fix what they messed up she said she would go get the manager. The manager never comes but she says we will have two chimichangas to replace the three (I know the math isn’t matching) and they come out shortly after. It’s a new place I understand things happen so we went about eating our dinner. During this time our 13 year old son orders a Virgin(obviously 13) pineapple daiquiri,, it was his second one of the night. When it comes out he takes a sip and tells me it doesn’t taste right, I taste it and it has rum in it ! Everyone tried it at the table. They served my 13 year old alcohol. My server didn’t come back to my table for some time so my husband told another server that walked by. Our server comes back and says she’s sorry and asks if he would like another one on the house. A manager did not come talk to us. To say that I was angry is an understatement. She brings the bills and the queso we never got is on there so we ask her to take it off. When she brought it back the queso was taken off but his second virgin drink that was “on the house” was added. We paid our bill and left. I called the next morning, asked to talk to a manager about the carelessness of the staff the previous night and demanded an answer as to why no one thought it was a problem that my underage son was served alcohol. I myself work with alcohol and know that this is unacceptable and means for a business to be shut down. The manager told me she was sorry and understood it was serious took my name and number and said I would get a call back. I told her where we sat and everything for the video evidence. That was almost a week ago and I have heard nothing back. It’s such a shame that this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth for this establishment. We drive from silver point because the food is just so dang good and I tell (well told) everyone I come across how amazing the place is. I was dissapointed as I really wanted to like this restaraunt. Short bit, decent food, really sweet not made well and overpriced drinks, and exceedingly rude staff. I will start off by saying the food was good. Not blow you out of the water amazing, but good. Prices were a bit more than comparative locations in the area, but what you might expect in a larger town. Unfortunately the rest left a lot to be desired. While our poor waiter was repeatedly put in an awkward situation between us and what I assume was either a manager or a bartender (guy in navy polo making drinks behind the bar) and did the best he could, the staff was generally rude and bordered on demeaning or dismissive. Also, i am quite concerned, by the behavior directed at us, that the mixed drinks were shorted on alcohol. I asked for an extra shot, something i do at almost every restaraunt, and some lime to temper the sweetness of my drink. Its just a personal taste, but i didnt complain about it because most people like sweet drinks. Never once mentioned why i wanted it, just made the request with full intent to purchase the extra shot. Bartender/manager/navy polo and another waiter made indications to our table and were making joking gestures. Shortly after, our waiter came by and felt the need to inform me there was a shot in my drink already (i quite hope so, with the size I got there should have at least been 1.5 shots). I reiterated politely that i was aware, but would like an extra shot and a shot of lime juice. Was then told that they dont have lime juice, to which i asked for a few extra lime wedges instead (nevermind that the drink claimed to be made with fresh lime juice). I was brought a whole lime which i felt was an unecessarily passive aggresive move towards two people who had done their best to be pleasant and had not actually made a complaint thus far. My mother and I went there for dinner first of all, I ordered the number three combination plate and when it came out, it wasn’t what I ordered. They actually serve me the number 13 combination so they took it back. And then gave me the right combination plate, which was a taco, a cheese enchilada, and a. Chili rellano The taco was supposed to be crunchy taco but you cannot pick it up because one side of the shelf just fell apart because it was so soft from the liquid The cheese enchilada was so stuck to the plate that I had to get underneath it and scrape it to loosen it up and then when I took a bite, it was so hard the shell and chewy that I couldn’t even eat it So the waiter brought the manager over and I told him what the problem was and he asked me if I wanted them to make another plate well after first giving me the wrong plate and then giving me the right plate and everything is horrible on it. I didn’t want nothing to eat at that point. So they did take it off the bill and also it was supposed to come with a side of rice and beans which I never received. That was my experience. My mom‘s experience was that she ordered the chicken fajitas so they delivered the lettuce and guacamole, sour cream and rice. First, a few minutes later they brought out the fajitas with no shells so we waited about five minutes for the waiter to come back over finally got the shells so when we receive the bill, they did take off my order but they charge my mother 1795 !On the menu.
