Blarney Stone used to be a neighborhood staple but I will not be supporting them after last night. We did a Telegraph bar crawl and planned on blarney for our last stop. We called ahead and let them know about our large group and over the phone they were nothing but nice. They said weâd have no problem having an area where we could hang out and order drinks and snacks from the bar. However when we arrived we were singled out by the owner and told there was no room for us (even though there was room) and asked to leave. Part of our group had gotten there a few minutes earlier and ordered beer at a table so we ended up staying about 30 minutes and it was 30 mins too long. We were told the other half of our group couldnât stand by our table (I understand we canât block the aisles but there was a full open corner where another large group had moved a table so there was plenty of room for 8 people to stand out of the way) and another group had at least 15 people standing and in the way. This group had moved tables as well. While we were there I was irritated I couldnât track down a server to order a drink (because when I went to the bar to order we were told if we were outside we would have to order from a server) but in retrospect Iâm glad I didnât give them a penny. I feel like they had multiple options to accommodate us and they went out of their way to not do that. Overall I feel disappointed in the Blarney Stone because we love to support local and live about a mile from there. However in the future we will be making Crocs our regular spot. We were met with nothing but kindness...
Read moreWe love the pizza here, but not the staff! 2 older women waitresses are rude and lazy. Single mom, came in with my kids bc it was hot and we wanted pizza. We sat ourselves, I proceeded to grab a baby seat myself. Put baby in seat and there's no strap. Waitress comes to ask what we want to drink, sees me struggling. I ask if she knows if their baby seats have buckles bc my baby was climbing out at that point. Instead of answering my question or go forbid offering to find my a babyseat he can't climb out of. She again asks what we want to drink. She then walks away, I'm guessing bc I didn't answer her right away. We haven't even sat down yet. I go to another baby seat and try to strap my baby in. The buckle on it didn't look like it worked either. I turn around to see the 2 old women talking about me and staring. Again no help. So we left. I then call to speak to a manager and am questioned by one of the 2 waitresses. Asking why I'm calling for a manager and then asked if I was the lady just there that was rude to ppl. I wasn't rude. I was there less than 3 minutes. But ordering drinks before we sat down and before I could safely put my baby in a seat was more important to them. Nevermind that they watched me struggle trying to find a babyseat and offered absolutely no help, but instead stood there talking about me. And Do Not harass me on the phone for calling your manager!...

However, if you're looking for a place to eat with the family, this is also going to hit all the buttons. Great lunch specials, cold beer (we'll circle back in a moment), and a genuine neighborhood feel. They have a great outdoor seating that's heated and covered. Every seat in the house has a good view of the screens, so all can enjoy the game. The Toasted Ravs are Super Mario Sized and delicious, pizza is always a good choice, and a solid, juicy burger, oh and did i say cold beer. Just listen to this, buy a bouquet of man flowers, and they'll keep that bucket filled with ice. Ensuring your adult flavors at the perfect temperature for enjoyment. We meet here multiple times a month for lunch, happy hour, to catch a game, or catch up with friends. There is even a "Blarney Stone" to kiss.... well, I made that last part there up, but that should probably be...
