I want to start off by saying I wasn’t even going to call them. After the meal I just endured…. I was just never going to eat there again…. So let me explain why I’m going out of my way to leave a bad review! I placed an order on line during lunch. I was really excited after hearing all the good and positive things about it on the We are Melissa Page. I ordered the Orange Chicken Lunch Special with Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon was actually really good. I wish there were more crab. However, overall really good. I ate the fried rice! Pretty good taste but I’ve had better. Now let’s get to the chicken!! That chicken was sooo dry and chewy. It sat in this orange sauce! Which by the way was actually the star! It helped with some of the dryness of the chicken but once the sauce was off the chicken, I found it pretty inedible..

Remind you, I’m not to type of person to complain because I don’t like confrontation. My sister saw that I wasn’t happy and said, “just call maybe they can remake it.”

I called spoke with Christy or Kristi and instantly her words were. “ I don’t believe that the chicken was dry. I’m eating right now and it’s really good.” I sat in silence, taken back at her response and said well if your chicken isn’t dry like what I just ate, then maybe I should be eating what you are eating! It’s like she was implying that I was lying…

She just kept saying that she would let the managers know. She wasn’t really concerned to make it right and fix the issue.. She just ask well what do you want me to do about it?! Do you want me to have them remake it… in a very snarky attitude. Not only can you keep the nasty remake and the nasty phone etiquette… That was the last of my money that this business would ever get.

Goody Goody Asian is way better!!!!!!

I didn’t want to take photos because I spit out the dry chicken back in the container. But here is a picture...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fan Chinese Restaurant and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with beautifully decorated interiors that create an authentic Chinese dining atmosphere.

The food was simply amazing—every dish was packed with flavor and prepared with great attention to detail. I highly recommend the Mongolian Beef which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The egg rolls were fresh and crispy. The service was just as impressive as the foo d. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. Despite being a busy evening, our food arrived promptly, and every request was met with a smile. Overall, Fan is a gem for anyone who loves authentic Chinese cuisine in Melissa.Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely be coming...

Like the few honest reviews on here (the rest of them had to be paid), we were very excited to see a new Chinese food restaurant open up because there are so few around. But it was NOT good. We ordered take out and arrived maybe 5 minutes after the time is was supposed to be ready, but when we got it home nothing was hot or warm. The lo mein noodles had no flavor, the chicken in the chicken fried rice as well as in the cashew chicken, was not seasoned (pale and sad), the "steamed or grilled" vegetables with the cashew chicken were hard and not cooked. The "fried" rice is not fried, it's white rice soaked in soy sauce, but some how did not have any flavor. The crab rangoons were probably the biggest disappointment because the cream cheese inside was cold and there was ZERO crab meat. The vegetable egg rolls were more like spring rolls and seemed...

We tried this place for dinner and were super impressed! The restaurant is really clean, and even though it’s on the smaller side, the seating is set up in a way that works well for families or even small groups. We ordered around six different dishes for our family of six (mostly teens and one toddler), and everything came out fast, fresh, and super tasty. They have a really nice variety of options on the menu, and honestly, the portion sizes are huge—one plate could easily feed two people. We had plenty of leftovers to take home. Overall, great food, great service, and a relaxed vibe. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the mood for good Chinese food! Ps… The frames look beautiful!!!!
