Sweet Tooth — Restaurant in Melrose Township

This place is an absolute dream for kids (and adults too!). It’s right on the water, which makes it the perfect stop for a sweet treat and a lakeside stroll. Between the incredible candy selection and the amazing Ashby’s ice cream, it’s impossible not to walk out with a smile.

One of the most special things—they make custom Buckeye chocolates for my cousin Josh, which just shows how thoughtful and kind the owners are. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming.

Everything about this shop is magical—from the sweets to the service to the view....

This was the best fudge we tasted on our trip to Michigan (and we tasted a lot). The peanut brittle was also outstanding-we had to go back for more!!! The ice cream was very good and we also tried the chocolate covered potato chips, they were sinfully delicious!! The owner also provided activities for children including sidewalk chalk. There were so many personal touches inside and out. This place is adorable and we will definitely stop again on our next norther...

By far the best handmade chocolate I’ve had in all my travels throughout Michigan. Esther, who owns the shop with her husband, makes dark and milk chocolates with skill and with love right there in the shop. Fudge and ice cream too!
