hot wings & rib-eye and asparagus

I WAS a frequent patron of this restaurant. I LOVED their hot wings and rib-eye asparagus. I live in Bartlett and drive over 10 miles and pass 20+ Chinese restaurants to eat there! It's the kind of food that you wake up in the middle of the night dreaming about.

Well today their customer service cured me of my cravings. I happened to be on the south side of town and stopped in to take a double order of my favorite dishes to go because I had out of town guests who wanted to try what I've been raving about. When I got home & sampled my rib-eye, I found that the secret sauce was very light to non-existent. I called my C-Fu's to alert them to the problem and was told to "freeze" the food, bring it in and they would make me another on the house, next time I'm there. The rib-eye is expensive ($15) and usually worth it, but since I had guests coming, little time to alter the menu, and $45 less money, I had to serve what I had. When I told the manager this, the only reply I got was "Well I'll let them know." From this day forward, I will not spend another dime in this restaurant! I feel cheated and worse yet embarrassed. When I read the reviews I was hyped to try but when I got the food I was greatly disappointed. The pork fried rice was sticky and not fresh. The jalapeno wings were wings with sauteed jalapenos and greens onion strewn on top, not what I had in mind at all with no real spicy taste without eating the two together. The eggrolls were a bit tough to bite/pull and were not fresh with no meat that I could taste after two bites. This is the first chinese restaurant that served shrimp broccoli with no other veggies such as carrots or onions. It was very bland but the shrimp was fresh and broccoli was just okay to me. Im a trucker from out of town but my terminal is close by.. I rarely leave reviews anymore but this place definitely deserves the stars. I roll the dice alot on the road trying new places and I think I struck gold! Yesterday I had the beef in garlic sauce... blew my mind the quality and portions are great for the price! Today im having the chicken lo mein and again im convinced they just know wth they're doing... good job guys!

Only down side is the inside is closed and it looks dead...dont be...
