This spot is truly excellent, with some of the friendliest staff youāll ever meet. The atmosphere is casual and relaxedānothing fancy, but plenty of seating for 2, 4, or even larger groups, which makes it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.
I had the baked chicken, which was juicy and perfectly seasoned. My sides were classic comfort food: macaroni and cheese that tasted just like grandmaās, and greens that were absolutely phenomenal. And the bread deserves its own shoutoutāwhile they have rolls, I tried the cornbread and water-fried cornbread, both so good I almost wished for a glass of milk to go with them.
