This spot is truly excellent, with some of the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed—nothing fancy, but plenty of seating for 2, 4, or even larger groups, which makes it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.

I had the baked chicken, which was juicy and perfectly seasoned. My sides were classic comfort food: macaroni and cheese that tasted just like grandma’s, and greens that were absolutely phenomenal. And the bread deserves its own shoutout—while they have rolls, I tried the cornbread and water-fried cornbread, both so good I almost wished for a glass of milk to go with them. All of this for only $14!
