Jack Pirtle's Chicken — Restaurant in Memphis

I’m glad they opened back up. I got a number 3 4pc dinner dark with an extra gravy and a large sweet tea. Drive thru about 8 cars in front of me but the line moved fast. The man that took my order was very nice and pleasant he was about his business. When I got to the first window and paid he was all smiles saying yes ma’am. He even gave me my order their, I just picked up my tea at the 2nd window. The grounds was clean it wasn’t a lot of pot holes like it use to be. My chicken very good hot and fresh like I remembered, fries like I remembered hot and fresh, the gravy wasn’t as thick as it use to be but still had that Jack Pirtle’s Flavor, my tea on Point, the only complaint was my biscuits both was hard and the taste wasn’t their. Ordered Fried livers order came with a FRIED FLY. When addressing the problem the young man said oh will we can't take the order back once its received advise no you need to replace order or give me my money back so he took the order back after he and I went round and round about the problem we and just spent 50+ dollars with them. He took order back I advised the employee don't just take the liver with the fly on it and return back to me within a few minutes he calls me back to the window once again to retrieve supposedly new order employee said order just came up asked then why isn't the livers hot so once again he took order back to replace. Received another order this time the livers were hard as a rock and they had added gizzards. I just trashed the order wouldn't even give it to my DOG....

This particular location recently reopened after being closed for remodeling. The outside is totally clean and neat. They even made the Drive-In more user friendly. The employee at the takeout window was extremely helpful and friendly. Now let me tell you about the food. I ordered a 4 piece white chicken dinner. The chicken was burnt and extremely greasy.
