The Grille at Hickory Hill — Restaurant in Memphis

I've had this place 3 times through Uber Eats. The first time I had them, it was absolutely wonderful. I decided to try them again. I ordered again through Uber Eats, my order was delivered and part of my order was not fulfilled. I called and they were apologetic and had my order ready when I arrived. I chopped this up as an error because things happen. The third time I ordered again from Uber Eats and they forgot part of my order AGAIN. This time I was not sympathetic. I called they said ok come by to get it. My husband said they were not busy and did not move quickly to serve. They were not the least bit enthused and the service they provided was sub-par. I won't be back and they offered nothing for my inconvenience. Customer service is everything and they didn't seem to value me as a customer. Given the fact that I've worked in the food business for years prior and was taught early on to move quickly to serve and efficiently so that at least the customer felt we were preparing things quickly through our actions. I work about 3 minutes from here and my shifts are usually 12 to 16 hours and I don’t always have time to bring my lunch so I got online and saw that this restaurant was not busy so I decided to order online My Was about 17 minutes for pick up once I arrived. It was extremely busy after seeing it was less busy than usual online I thought to myself man if this place is less busy, I couldn’t imagine how busy it really is Although busy, the lady behind the counter was extremely nice to everyone and did all she could to keep things organized with online and walk-in orders(it was a ton more f ppl and she kept ppl. Calm and updated on their orders status) I Ordered the Special Online it said it came with two wings a chicken on the stick with one side and drink of choice. I chose okra from my side and raspberry lemonade for my drink. It was all so delicious. I also got three wings instead of two maybe because I wanted them grilled, but I preferred grilled over fried and it was everything it needed to be. So today I visited this black owned establishment. I waited patiently to order because the call in orders were far more important than mines ...the customer already present in the restaurant. So once I made it to ordering process...I order fish ,spaghetti and coleslaw and I also ordered a cheese burger with fries..a order of tamles(which were left out and I was questioned like I stolen them).so 40 minutes later i got our food...the spaghetti was over cooked and the coleslaw was a poor cheap store brand...my fish was ok....my cheese burger was this pre processed unseasoned burger and the fries were either old or refried.... ...the customer service was terrible... ...the cashier acted like everyone was getting on her nerves...I hate ragging on us like this... ...we as black business owners have to do better...now that strawberry cake was everything I needed...I spent 30$ on...
