As a life-long Memphian I'm embarrassed to admit this is my first time going here. I have sadly done myself a disservice for years because every was great. I went with the spicy Italian, Italian sausage, and a slice of sausage and pepperoni pizza. The pizza sauce and dough had to be house made as you can taste the freshness of both. The spicy Italian was packed with meat and the Italian sausage ran the length of the bun. This was my first, but certainly not my last visit!

YUM!! I saw a great write up on Valle’s in Garden and Gun and had to come try it for myself. The MUFFELETTA is delicious! Very friendly service and great prices too. Don’t let the part of town deter you.

I have been about 10 times and really like this place. It goes back to at least the 1970s and is in a former firehouse. It is order-at-the-counter, and the workers are very nice and the wait is never long.

The food is basic Italian, with pasta dishes, subs, and pizza. I have had spaghetti with meat and marinara sauces, chicken Rotel spaghetti, and muffaletta (which I have heard is their signature dish), and they are all very good...not incredible but still very good.

Their best dish in my opinion is the pizza, which surprised me because I have never heard anyone around town talk about it. You can order by the slice or a whole pizza. It has a unique, fairly thick crust that is very tasty. I have had only the cheese pizza and highly recommend it. I should add, however, that I have had it 6 times, and only 4 times was it very good. Two of the times it tasted soggy and not as fresh.

It is a shame they close after lunch and do not have at least a carry-out pizza business at night. Overall, a very...

Hands down, this is one of my favorite lunch locations in the city. As is the case with most places I tend to fall in love with, it's a little off the beaten path, and in all likelihood wouldn't be mistaken for "fine dining" But the food is spectacular and I always enjoy the banter with the staff. Family owned for over 40 years serving fresh bread and homemade dishes you simply can't go wrong by making the time to head on over and grab a bite. (My personal favorite dishes include the muffelletto and spicy italian sandwiches, the rebel combo, the toasted ravioli, and whatever magnificent homemade dessert that have...

This wonderful hidden gem in Memphis is the BEST Italian food in the city. If I could get it 20 stars I would. The lasagna, Italian spinach, pasta salad, and spaghetti are my all time favorites but pizza and sandwiches can’t be beat either. They are only open for lunch so when I can’t eat there I get to go. Warms up amazingly and the taste is just this side of Heaven! If you haven’t tried it yet you owe it to yourself to stop for the best Italian food in town. Your taste buds...
