I have been about 10 times and really like this place. It goes back to at least the 1970s and is in a former firehouse. It is order-at-the-counter, and the workers are very nice and the wait is never long.
The food is basic Italian, with pasta dishes, subs, and pizza. I have had spaghetti with meat and marinara sauces, chicken Rotel spaghetti, and muffaletta (which I have heard is their signature dish), and they are all very good...not incredible but still very good.
Their best dish in my opinion is the pizza, which surprised me because I have never heard anyone around town talk about it. You can order by the slice or a whole pizza. It has a unique, fairly thick crust that is very tasty. I have had only the cheese pizza and highly recommend it. I should add, however, that I have had it 6 times, and only 4 times was it very good. Two of the times it tasted soggy and not as fresh.
