Wok & Roll — Restaurant in Memphis

I ordered the shrimp fried rice, large with two shrimp egg rolls. Let me start with the initial call in order. I called to place my order, and while giving my order, she would repeat what I was saying. When she repeated the order, she kept saying regular. I kept saying large...she said I know, I know, one regular, and one large. At this point, she was agitated. I would correct her again. She finally said, by regular, I mean, no vegetables in the rice. Let's get to the rice itself. It was undercooked, and it had no flavor, none, zilch! I asked my coworker how his food was. He stated that his rice wasn't good either. The shrimp was half done, I had to put my plate in the microwave to finish cooking the shrimp, and the rice had to be re-cooked at home . He took his plate home to cook and added more flavor to it. Neither one of us had dinner because the food wasn't fit to eat. We both end up taking our food home to try to salvage it. We were at work, so we didn't have the option to take it back. A side note, eggs don't come in your rice. You have to request it for a dollar more. The egg rolls were decent.

If I could rate this restaurant with zero stars I would. When I walked into the door the cashier was writing out checks to pay bills at the counter near the register. I placed my order she took my money and gave me my change. She then proceeded to walk to the cooler, prior to her getting to the walk-in cooler she sneezed. She placed her hand to her face to block the sneeze. She sneezed a second time. This time she pulled the collar of her shirt over her mouth. She proceeded on to the cooler and picked up two spring rolls and dropped them into the cooking grease. I brought it to her attention what she did and all she said was I didn't do that, no refund. I told her she could have the $6+ I would never eat there...

ive been eating here for over 10 years and i must say they actually have the best chinese food. Their wings are honestly the best wings i ever had. Every time i recommend their hot wings to someone, they will eat there for a month straight lol. But as time went on, the original cooks aren't there anymore. I believe it was passed down, because this is their only location. But the lady at the counter is coo, but when she's having a bad day you can tell. If You're going to run a business dealing with customers, please practice customer service. It's so important! Their food is delicious ive tried alot of it, but 3 stars because of lack of customer...
